I was meeting my younger siblings in Pocheon for the first time in ages, so we went to Eoneu Dal (어느달), a Pocheon pasta favorite. I used to go all the time before I moved, but now it is kind of a distance away, so sadly I cannot visit as often as before... The pasta is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, and the space is wide and clean, so it is great both for gatherings and for coming with kids.

It has been totally fall weather lately!! Perfect for a drive... and perfect for a date too, right? I recommend Eoneu Dal for a Pocheon date course. (This auntie cannot really do dates... so I will come enjoy some daytime freedom instead?) It is close to Pocheon Art Valley and Pocheon IC too, making Eoneu Dal just right for a drive~!!

When should you avoid the wait?

As you would expect from a popular Pocheon restaurant, it gets busy even right after opening on weekdays, so I recommend arriving right at the 11:30 opening time. Drop the kids at school, quickly tidy the house, and head out for some free time—perfect, hehe.

On one side, there is a large table divided off with a partition rather than a private room, so it is perfect for a gathering if you reserve ahead. I had a couples' get-together with the kids here before, and it was separated quite far from the other tables, so it felt just like a private room.

There are high chairs too, so it is nice to bring children. For risotto and pasta, there are options like “not spicy” or “Cheongyang chili pepper on the side,” so you can share with kids.

You can also use Tabling for remote waitlisting! I recommend it during busy hours or on weekends. There is a lunch wait even on weekdays. We arrived almost right after opening, around 11:40, and there was a table...

You scan the QR code to order. So convenient, right?! You only place the order that way; payment is afterward at the counter.

The pasta and risotto I end up ordering every time

The rosé pasta is a must-order every time I visit! It has a thick, rich rosé cream sauce, totally my style... I think most people love rosé pasta, because whenever I come to Eoneu Dal, at least one person always orders it... hahahahaha.

This is the garlic shrimp pasta I chose. If you like oil-based pasta, you have to try it... My number-one pasta at Eoneu Dal..

The zucchini and mushrooms go so well with the sauce! I also loved that it came with lots of shrimp..

I think I have ordered the chicken risotto on nearly every visit too.. If you ask for the Cheongyang chili pepper separately, they do not sprinkle it on and serve it separately, so it is great to share with kids. It is a must-order whenever I come with children! There is a wide range of coffee and ade (Korean fruit soda) too, so you could take care of dessert here as well. That day, I only ordered a cola because there was a new café I wanted to visit. I had tried the coffee before, and it was good too.

Just look at all those clams in the vongole pasta.. hahaha. They were well purged, there were lots of them, and I highly recommend it. Eoneu Dal does gnocchi well too. If you are not in the mood for pasta, I recommend the gnocchi.

Look at the ragu pasta presentation.....haha. Eoneu Dal tastes great, of course, but the plating is so appetizing too. That is why I think it is a great place to treat guests. And mushroom cream pasta is guaranteed to be delicious.. for a mushroom lover like me.

Eoneu Dal does steak well too. I suddenly craved meat that day and tried the steak, and it turned out to be a steak spot too... A truly local Pocheon favorite, Eoneu Dal!! I recommend it for gatherings, dates, and meals with kids 🩶 I should visit again with my child soon!
