Juno Hair Dongtan SRT Station Branch is a salon in Building B of Lotte Front Castle near Dongtan Station, and the store's atmosphere caught my eye right away! It felt like a Greek temple in Athens — so luxurious and grand!

Store atmosphere

Walking inside, the bright chandelier lighting and the stylishly curved reception counter immediately catch your eye :) Everything was arranged elegantly and cleanly like a hotel, giving off a very professional feel!

The waiting area in particular was really well done! Plush black classic sofas paired with gold-accented mini tables meant I could wait comfortably~!

The stylish arched wall interior harmonized beautifully with the indirect lighting! Below it, a variety of premium hair products and magazines were neatly displayed, which was fun to browse~

Treatment area

Inside the store there's an open treatment area with a view outside the window, plus cozy wood-toned table seating, so I could relax comfortably the whole time! It was also set up bar-style so I could freely use my pad, which was great because I could work while getting my hair done!

Kids zone

And there's a fully equipped kids zone that will be a welcome sight for anyone visiting with children! With a cute house-shaped interior, a TV, and a separate play space with toys for kids to safely enjoy, it seemed like a great spot to visit with kids :)

Shampoo zone

Decorated in a calm, cozy dark tone, this is a space where you can fully rest while getting your hair washed. With comfortable chairs and soft lighting, it looked like a great place to unwind!

Café zone

The gorgeous chandelier lighting on the ceiling blended with sleek line lighting to create an atmosphere as refined and elegant as a café!

I ordered green tangerine tea, and it came with a refreshing drink along with a neat snack set served on a tray, so I could enjoy a pleasant break during my treatment!

Why a root volume perm was recommended instead of a hippie perm

At Juno Hair Dongtan SRT Station Branch, I was treated by designer Yeondu, and even though I visited without picking a specific designer, she did a really careful hair diagnosis :) I originally went in for a hippie perm, but she honestly told me my hair was currently too damaged for that treatment.

Rather than just going ahead with the treatment, she carefully checked my hair's condition and sincerely recommended a style that would suit me better, which made me trust her even more! In the end, to keep my hair as healthy as possible while still looking pretty, we did a clinic, a side root volume perm, and a fringe perm together!

How much did the cut, perm, and clinic cost?

The cut was ₩35,000, the perm was ₩70,000, and the clinic was ₩198,000! Since my hair was so damaged, I chose the highest-tier clinic product. Clinic pricing differs by tier, so if you want exact prices, check the salon's price list!

Here's my condition before the treatment~ The ends were badly damaged, so my hair was frizzy and drooping with no volume ㅠㅠ

I liked that they put a face guard on me before starting the treatment!

She started with the side root volume perm first! She rolled each rod carefully one by one, which gave me even more confidence in her :)

She also did the fringe perm together, and even during the heat processing, she kept carefully checking that the temperature was okay, which felt really thoughtful! After that, she carefully went through the clinic steps to restore my hair's health~

One thing I really loved was that during the clinic treatment, I got to sit in a massage chair and relax! After sitting for a long time, all the fatigue that had built up melted away right along with the treatment — it was truly healing :)

Ta-da! Here's my finished after look. The damaged ends were neatly trimmed, and this is the result of doing the root volume perm, fringe perm, and clinic together :)

My frizzy hair became noticeably shiny and healthy-looking, and overall I ended up with a sleek, voluminous style!

After the treatment was all done, I even received this little gift to wrap things up on a happy note. Inside a neat mesh pouch were sample shampoo and treatment products, which should be really handy for home care too!
