Pulse Line Coffee in Sharosu-gil: a spacious café with roomy table spacing

When you search for cafés near Seoul National University Station, a lot of small independent cafés come up, but Pulse Coffee is on the larger side. Instead of tables packed tightly in a row, they're spaced apart, which made conversation easy, and it also felt like a place you could come to alone for coffee without any pressure.

There were also seats by the floor-to-ceiling windows, which made the space feel less closed-in!
Black-and-red accent interior

Pulse Line Coffee uses a dark black-toned space with red as an accent color, giving it a clear identity of its own.

There were photos of their signature drinks on the wall, along with coffee cups and small displayed items, which were nice to look at!

When looking for a café in Sharosu-gil, taste matters, but honestly, if it's too loud or the seats are uncomfortable, it's hard to stay long. Pulse Line Coffee had a variety of seating, and the space itself was spacious enough to make chatting with a friend over dessert comfortable.
What desserts and coffee beans does Pulse Line Coffee have?

Pulse Line Coffee's desserts included brûlée pie, crumble pie, muffins, pound cake, and more. There were quite a lot of options in the dessert case, so if you're looking for a café near Seoul National University Station with a wide dessert selection to pair with your coffee, this is a good pick.

There were also three kinds of coffee beans to choose from, so you can pick according to your taste.
How was the Americano, lemonade, and brûlée pie combo?

I ordered an Americano, lemonade, and brûlée pie at Pulse Line Coffee. The coffee was clean and easy to drink, and since the brûlée pie was on the sweeter side, the combination worked well together.

If you're not a coffee person or you're looking for something refreshing, they also have ade drinks, so keep that in mind!
What's the structure of the brûlée pie like?

Pulse Line Coffee's brûlée pie has that characteristic torched top, a soft and moist cream layer inside, and a crisp tart crust underneath. It looked like they were torching each one fresh, right on the spot.

Personally, I prefer tarts and pies like this over heavier cakes, so it was very satisfying. If you're visiting Pulse Coffee near Seoul National University Station, I'd recommend ordering the brûlée pie alongside your drink.
