Dutch coffee concentrate 500ml at Sangdo-dong roastery Coffee by Hands

I heard there was a roastery café run by an owner who's truly passionate about coffee, so I headed straight over to Coffee by Hands Roastery! It's located between Sangdo Station and Soongsil University Station on line 7, so it's a nice easy walk. I got off the bus in front of Jungang Heights Villa, which was just a 5-minute walk away — got there in no time!

Coffee by Hands Roastery, this Sangdo-dong café near Soongsil University, also handles return gifts, corporate events, and group orders! I once received a cookie + coffee set as a wedding return gift, and as an office worker for whom coffee is essential, I was very satisfied! They said they can consult with you based on your budget or the occasion.

The inside of Coffee by Hands Roastery, this Sangdo-dong café, is compact and really gives off that takeout-focused roasting specialty café vibe.

On one side there's a bar table set up, so you can take a moment to rest and enjoy a relaxed cup of coffee.

Notes are posted here and there that really convey the sincerity toward coffee of the owner-roaster, a former food researcher — it raises your expectations for how good the coffee will taste 🤩

How to drink the 500ml Dutch coffee concentrate at home

Since I had a housewarming party coming up, I went with the home cafe menu's Dutch coffee concentrate, 500ml. They told me to pour in about 60-90ml of concentrate and add water at about 2-3 times that amount depending on your taste! They even threw in a cup to make measuring easier 😊

It's even better and nuttier when paired with milk or ice cream, so I highly recommend it! They said it keeps in the fridge for about a week after opening, so with that generous timeframe it's perfect for enjoying coffee at home 🫶 At the housewarming party, everyone was full of praise for how good the coffee was! Since I heard the einspänner is their signature, I'm planning to go back next time just to drink that! Highly recommend to anyone in Sangdo-dong looking for genuinely delicious coffee 🌟
