I absolutely love brunch, so one of my little pleasures is hunting down great brunch spots around town ꔛ There was one place that always came up whenever I searched for Pangyo brunch, and I’d wanted to visit for ages—so my husband and I went for our baby’s very first meal out 𓆇 ₊ 𓂃 ❤︎ ﾟ𓂂𓏸

An exterior that feels like a little European café

The blue exterior immediately catches your eye ꔛ It made me feel as though I’d stepped into a relaxed brunch bar on a European side street ₊˚ෆ⊹.ᐟ Maybe because it’s so popular, they even have Catchtable and waiting chairs out front..

A warm, café-like mood

I think Meolmeol’s signature color must be blue. There’s a casually placed blue “Meolmeol” canvas, too.

The white brick walls and warm wood-toned tables come together so cozily ꔛ

There’s a long bar table in the center, which looked great for larger groups, too.

The stylish little objects placed throughout, along with the blue accent color, give the space a cohesive feel.

The owner seems to have such a wonderful eye for interiors 🫶💕 The lovely sunlight through the windows made the space feel even warmer.

The space is large and there’s plenty of room between tables, so it truly felt like a restorative brunch outing.

It was our first time eating out with the baby, so I worried a lot about where we would put the stroller. But Meolmeol is so spacious that eating with a baby didn’t feel burdensome at all. I’d recommend it to anyone heading out or dining out with a baby.

What is Meolmeol Pangyo’s terrace seating like?

In weather like this, you want to eat leisurely on a terrace, right? Meolmeol has such pretty terrace seating outside ꔛ 💗

Yellow tables and chairs sit beneath a blue striped awning, and just seeing them made me feel brighter, like I’d arrived at a holiday destination from the moment I reached the entrance.

Raspberry Endive Salad

It was a great dish for waking up the appetite with something fresh and tangy. Isn’t the plating so pretty?

House-made raspberry yogurt, crisp fresh endive, peaches, and prosciutto came together beautifully in that sweet-and-salty balance. It was an excellent starter before the meal.୧ ‧₊˚ ᡣ𐭩 ⋅ ☆

Truffle Cream Pasta

It had such an appealing, subtle fragrance.

It came with rigatoni, which had a lovely chewy texture. The delicate truffle aroma drifted through so pleasantly. The thick, rich cream sauce had soaked nicely into the pasta, making every bite smooth and nutty 💗 ͜ (ᵔ ̮ ᵔ)›

Spicy Jokbal Rosé Risotto

A dish that brings balance with its spice! Creamy rosé risotto is topped with spicy, chewy buljokbal (spicy braised pig’s trotters). Cream pasta can start to feel a little rich as you eat, but the spice of this buljok risotto cuts right through that richness, so the two dishes went wonderfully together ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡

My final thoughts on Meolmeol Pangyo with a baby

This had been on my saved list for a while, and it was just as satisfying in atmosphere and flavor as I’d hoped ꔛ It had exactly the right mood for brunch. I thought our first meal out with the baby would be chaotic, but the space was roomy and the staff were so kind, so my husband and I could chat while enjoying delicious food.
