Charcoal pork neck and egg roll banchan at Jeongsiljangne Ppalgan
Jeongsiljangne Ppalgan Gogi is a Korean BBQ restaurant in a food alley near Icheon Bus Terminal, Gyeonggi, about a 3-minute walk away. The writer ordered charcoal-grilled fresh pork neck (200g) and red-marinated fresh pork belly (200g), with a hearty spread of banchan including egg roll and doenjang jjigae with meat in it. The tender pork neck was good, but the gochujang-based red pork belly was the standout.
