Halal cheat day for two in Sangam DMC, Seoul: Zilhal Bros Sangam

So one day...

Bom: Taek, should we sign up for a 5K marathon~?

Taek: If we're doing it, why not go for 10K??

(Taek had just made a reckless statement....!)

To slim down, Taek started the first diet of his 30-something years of life... deep into meal management, Taek was desperate for something delicious...!

That's when a halal food spot called "Zilhal Bros" caught our eye.

Drawn by a strange pull toward exotic food we don't often get to try, Bom and Taek headed straight there..!! (Doo-doong-taek! _sound effect of setting off)

(...this is just a nonsense intro that you'll skip anyway, so I wrote whatever came to mind. Feel free to keep skipping.)

Where is Zilhal Bros Sangam, and what does the restaurant look like?

Zilhal Bros Sangam sits slightly set back along the outer edge of the Savoy City DMC building, marked by a yellow sign. Not hard to find at all!

Since it hasn't been open long, there's a congratulatory flower wreath out front!!! (Bom and Taek visited on the evening of September 20, 2026.) Let's take a look inside??

Inside Zilhal Bros Sangam and how to order at the kiosk

Step inside Zilhal Bros Sangam and you're hit with an American street vibe — the kind of interior that feels like a franchise burger joint. Ordering is easy at the kiosk on the right side of the entrance!! (Even if you don't get it, just nod along, ah-ha?!)

Two-person tables line a long wall, and they're set up so you can move them together depending on your group size!! There were also 4-person tables toward the back!

This is the tray return area — since the place just opened, it didn't seem fully set up yet!! We visited late Sunday evening so maybe it had already been tidied somewhat! Well, the taste of the food is what matters most, right?!?? Moving on

Menu and prices: combo rice with chicken and lamb, plus lamb kebab

The rice bowl seems to be Zilhal Bros' signature menu, so Bom and Taek ordered three items that day: chicken & lamb combo rice for 12,900 won, chicken & lamb combo rice with cola/fries set for 17,900 won, and lamb kebab for 6,900 won!!

Sauce piled high — exactly what a cheat day calls for! Pass on the first test!

Loaded with vegetables and sauce.... First we stuffed down the kebab, then went in on the rice bowl.

Thick-cut fries that were exactly Taek's type.... So good!!! They gave us a fork-spoon to eat the fries and rice bowl with!!

That fork-spoon looked like something out of a Disney cartoon I saw once, in a far-off country...

Ahem.. moving on

How big are the rice bowls, and what could be better?

You're supposed to mix the Zilhal Bros rice bowl with the spoon before eating — at first there was so much sauce that it tasted quite mild, but as I ate more I found myself reaching for more of those jalapeños...! I think it'd be great if they set up a self-serve station with pickles, hot sauce, jalapeños, etc...!! (Taek's personal opinion!)

Even in the regular size, the portion was extremely generous — enough to leave an adult man full!!

💌 Hours: Weekdays 11:00–20:30 (last order 20:00), Weekends 11:00–19:30 (last order 19:00)

They said during Chuseok 2026 they'll run on the weekend schedule, so keep that in mind!!!
