Hongdae always has new cafés and dessert shops lined up, so there's real fun in picking where to go. This time I stopped by Think Fruit, a premium fruit dessert and brunch café. They said the menu changes with the season depending on the fruit, so I went in with high expectations. I heard the fig soufflé is especially famous, so a friend and I headed over.

Walking to Think Fruit from Hongdae Station Exit 7
Walking out of Hongdae Station and down the alley, Think Fruit appears as a small but stylish-looking café. The sign and exterior are so clean that it stood out even from a distance, and even though it's only a short way from Hongdae's lively streets and the Gyeongui Line Forest Park, the alley itself is quiet — the moment I spotted the shop and stepped in, I felt myself relax.

Inside Think Fruit: seating and atmosphere
The interior of Think Fruit isn't huge, but with its floor-to-ceiling windows it feels modern and open, almost breezy. The white-toned interior suits the fruit desserts really well and makes for a stylish space. The window seats looked bright and comfortable with the sunlight streaming in, and I could see couples chatting over dessert.

How the Häagen-Dazs coffee slush and peach smoothie tasted
The Häagen-Dazs coffee slush and peach smoothie came out first. The coffee slush blended strong coffee flavor with the softness of Häagen-Dazs ice cream, giving it a cooling yet deep flavor. With the sweet vanilla ice cream mixed in, it almost felt like eating an affogato. I'd definitely recommend it to coffee lovers.
The peach smoothie was made by blending fresh peaches straight, so it was sweet yet refreshing and left my mouth feeling clean — the natural fruit flavor really came through, and it felt like a healthy treat.

Was the fig soufflé at Think Fruit worth 22,000 won?
Think Fruit's fig soufflé was overwhelming just visually. Fresh figs were piled generously on top of the fluffy soufflé, and it was better for not being overly sweet. The soufflé itself was really soft and moist, blending harmoniously with the figs so it melted in my mouth. It felt less like eating a dessert and more like tasting a work of art.
Overall, the menu is built around fresh fruit, so even though it's dessert, it never felt heavy. The fact that the menu uses seasonal fruit, so you can taste something different each season, was also appealing.

Final verdict on Think Fruit
Think Fruit was just the spot for enjoying something special in Hongdae. The fig soufflé exceeded expectations in both looks and taste, and the coffee slush and peach smoothie were satisfying too. Thinking about the fresh fruit and carefully made desserts, I really felt it was worth a visit.
The mood was stylish yet cozy at the same time, making it worth recommending as a date spot or a brunch café with friends. Next time I definitely want to try the peach parfait and the salted cream coffee.
