Panna is a Jeonpo Western restaurant run by an owner with 15 years of hotel experience. It's on the 2nd floor of 62 Seojeon-ro 38beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan, open daily 11:30–22:00 (until 21:30 on Sunday), with a break time daily from 15:00–17:00 and last order at 20:30 (20:00 on Sunday).

Panna is in the building across from the Starbucks Seomyeon Jeonpo Station branch. By subway it's a 5-minute walk from Jeonpo Station Exit 7, or 11 minutes from Seomyeon Station Exit 4. By bus it's 3 minutes from Bujeon Library, or 9 minutes from Seomyeon Station/Seomyeon Underground Mall. There's no validated parking ❌ and no private lot ❌.

✔️ Building exterior It's not on the ground floor so it's easy to walk past — just think of it as the 2nd floor of the JoJo building (the stairs are on the left when you're facing JoJo).

How long is the Saturday night wait at Panna?

I visited around 8pm on a Saturday, there was 1 team ahead of me, and I got in after about 10 minutes. Since Saturday closes at 8:30, I worried "wait, am I not going to make it in time...?" but they even took my order in advance (!)

✔️ Interior Orange interior + a cozy vibe, which I love 🧡 (the atmosphere is so cozy that quite a few people were there on dates). From outside it looked pretty cramped, but there were about 4 tables for 4 and 2 tables for 2, and the turnover wasn't bad, so it seemed fine (ㅅ ॑꒳ ॑*)✧

Panna's menu and the two dishes we ordered

✔️ Menu Best menu: sous vide steak, Toowoomba pasta, vongole red oil pasta, pollock roe shrimp cream pasta, beef belly rice bowl. There were so many best-menu options I almost had a hard time choosing, but since I went craving gnocchi, I ordered one buldak gnocchi and one chicken plate for sharing.

✔️ Us non-drinkers always go for zero coke *^-^* 🥤 And I assumed the radish pickle there would be sweet, but it turned out spicier than expected? I actually liked it! But if you don't know that going in, it might catch you off guard, so keep that in mind 🫢

How does the chicken plate for wrapping (18,000 won) taste?

Panna's chicken plate for sharing is ₩18,000. Menu description: "Made to give you the many flavors of a classic chicken salad — honestly, it takes so much effort that it's the #1 dish we secretly hope people don't order too often lol lol lol lol lol lol lol"

Hahahaha I was going to order Toowoomba pasta and buldak gnocchi, but I switched to the chicken plate because I felt like ordering two cream-based dishes would be a shame — and I only just now read the menu description lololol sorry about that, but it was delicious,,🙏 (I'll probably order it again next time,,, that's a secret,,,,.🤫)

The chicken nuggets had a firm, crispy batter and the fries were coated in a sweet sauce like candied sweet potato — unusual and delicious!

Put salad, fries, and a piece of chicken into a tortilla, dip it deep in honey mustard, and it's an absolute flavor bomb ;;;;; Eating just chicken and fries feels a little guilty (kidding), but adding the salad in gives it a nice healthy touch *^-^*

And here's why you should order the chicken plate and buldak gnocchi together — dipping that chicken tortilla wrap into the buldak gnocchi sauce is a game changer…⭐️ It could get greasy if you kept eating it alone, but the sauce cuts through that richness cleanly so you can keep going endlessly 🫡

How spicy is Panna's buldak gnocchi (16,000 won)?

Panna's buldak gnocchi is ₩16,000. Menu description: "Eating it one piece at a time will just leave you craving more — even scooping up three at once won't make a dent, and it's mild enough even for a spice-wimp owner to handle. The dish that shocked even me and my friend Duck the moment we took our first bite — it's truly the ultimate in intense flavor, and I still can't forget that jolt from the first bite lolol 😭⚡️ It kept tasting good the whole way through, but that first bite is truly incredible…

I'm someone who's hard to place — not quite a spice-wimp, but not exactly great with spicy food either — and to me it wasn't spicy enough to need water 🔥, it actually leaned more salty than spicy. It kind of reminded me of the smell of Ulsan jjondegi (a chewy snack), and maybe that's why it also tasted a bit like ramen soup base — anyway, the fact is it was incredibly intense and delicious 🫢⭐️

I've been eating pretty mild food lately, so tasting something this intense after a while was so thrilling. I think I'd order this same combo again next time. Perfect for when you want to blow off some stress…!
