Jeonpo Western restaurant in Busan: truffle Cajun fries steak at Panna
In short
Panna Seomyeon Main Branch is a Western-style restaurant on the second floor of a building tucked inside Jeonpo Cafe Street in Busanjin, Busan. The meal ran from the Panna garden salad to a Toowoomba pasta ordered at Shin Ramyun spice level and a sous vide skirt steak plated with truffle Cajun fries. The creamy pasta and the lean, savory steak balanced each other out, making Panna a solid pick for a date or a group dinner.

Today I went looking for a good Western-style restaurant in Jeonpo and ended up at Panna Seomyeon Main Branch on a recommendation! I'd heard the sous vide skirt steak and Toowoomba pasta were both really good, so I got curious and headed straight over 🤍
It's a great spot for when you're craving Seomyeon pasta or steak, and it seemed like a solid choice for a date or a group meal too. So here goes — my review of Panna, a Western restaurant in Seomyeon 🥩

This is what Panna looks like from outside! It's about a 5-minute walk from Jeonpo Station and sits right on Jeonpo Cafe Street, so it wasn't hard to find at all!

There are waiting seats set up right in front of the second floor where Panna is located, so you can wait comfortably if there's a line!

You can check the menu before even walking in, which is nice for deciding what to order ahead of time 👀 And there's a Catch Table kiosk in front of the store if you need to join the waitlist!
Inside Panna: the room and how ordering works
Panna's interior is full of atmosphere ✨ Stepping inside, the whole space feels warm and full of mood!

At Panna, each table has its own menu, and you order by writing down your choices on a slip of paper and handing it to staff! Since you check things off yourself, it's easy to pick your dishes — kind of great for introverts too (?)

Love the pop of orange from the table lamp, and every table has a thoughtful little bag hanger too!
Panna has an open kitchen, so you can see the whole cooking area! Watching the food get made adds a bit of trust, and it was fun to people-watch the cooking while waiting 👀✨
What we ordered at Panna
- Panna garden salad
- Panna sous vide skirt steak
- Toowoomba pasta
- Coke
Panna garden salad

First up was the Panna garden salad 🥗 The vegetables were fresh and crisp all around, making it a nice light start.

The dressing was on the sweeter side, not too sharp, giving it a mild, easy flavor — perfect as a starter to whet the appetite before the mains!

Toowoomba pasta at Shin Ramyun spice level
Next up was the Toowoomba pasta 🍝 I loved that every pasta at Panna lets you adjust the spice level — you can choose between Shin Ramyun level or Buldak level. Since we were pairing it with steak, we went with the slightly spicy Shin Ramyun level to cut through the richness!

The sauce clings thick and heavy to the noodles 😋 One bite in, it's a soft, savory cream sauce with a gentle kick of spice layered in — never greasy, always making you want another bite 🤍 The sauce was rich, and plump shrimp scattered throughout added a springy texture too 🦐
Mix it all together! Looks delicious, right? 🍝🍝🍝🍝🍝

I was glad we went with a bit of spice — the creamy Toowoomba richness gives way to a slight heat that paired really well with the steak!

Panna sous vide skirt steak with truffle Cajun fries
And now the main event! 🥩 The Panna sous vide skirt steak & truffle Cajun fries arrived!

The skirt steak was sous vide really well, so it was incredibly tender! You could gently taste the lean, savory meat flavor characteristic of skirt steak, and it sliced smoothly along the grain with no toughness or dryness at all! 🥩

One bite gives you juicy, naturally savory meat flavor, and its clean taste paired great with the slightly spicy Toowoomba pasta from earlier 🤍 Taking a bite of the creamy, spicy pasta and then the steak together, they really rounded each other out!

And served alongside were the truffle Cajun fries 🍟 The salty, subtly spiced Cajun flavor combined with a truffle aroma that wasn't overpowering at all — really tasty!

The thoughtful touch by the register
And lastly, a nice little detail I spotted while paying ✨ Behind the register they had mouthwash, interdental brushes, and candy all set out so you can freshen up after your meal!
