The restaurant is immediately on the left once you come out of the parking lot! We got a little lost, went all the way to the right, then had to come back, haha.

If you love mulhoe (chilled raw fish soup), I really recommend giving this place a try, haha. The restaurant was spacious and clean, which I loved. I’m not sure if he was the owner, but the man there..? was so kind. We brought a stroller, and I was truly grateful that he gave us a roomy seat and even moved the table so we could sit comfortably ㅠㅠ
The assorted mulhoe and seafood scallion pancake we ordered
Menu

Our order
- 2-person assorted mulhoe ₩45,000
- Seafood scallion pancake ₩18,000
Side dishes
The included sides were salad, miyeok-guk (seaweed soup), nuts, and more, but I mostly had a little of the salad and nuts.
Adding corn noodles to seafood-loaded assorted mulhoe

First of all, just looking at it made me excited because it was packed with seafood. The assorted mulhoe had several kinds of seafood, including large olive flounder, dodari sekkochi (thin-sliced raw fish with bones), sea cucumber, and abalone, so it was fun picking out and trying each one.
The sashimi and seafood were especially fresh and went so well with the mulhoe seasoning—it was seriously delicious. The tangy, refreshing flavor was perfect for hot weather. I looked it up, and apparently they bring in fresh seafood every day in their own refrigerated truck..! No. Won.der!!! I’m a total sashimi-and-seafood killer and really picky about it, but this was truly delicious!!
And my personal must-try combination here is corn noodles! Add them while you’re eating the mulhoe, and the seasoning soaks right into the noodles, making it feel like a completely different dish. After we added the noodles, we just kept reaching for the broth too, haha. In. The. End... we ate every last bit ㅠㅠ
Corn noodles come with the mulhoe, so even if you’re full, don’t skip them—definitely add them to the mulhoe and try them. 👍
Complimentary clam soup with a 2-person assorted mulhoe order

Also, if you order the 2-person assorted mulhoe, you get bajirak-tang (clam soup) as a service. I expected just a simple complimentary dish, but it had quite a lot of clams and even sujebi (hand-torn dough pieces), so it was more generous than I expected.
Taking a spoonful of warm clam soup after cool, refreshing mulhoe was such a good combination. The clams gave the broth a proper depth of flavor, and I think it would go well as a drinking snack too. Add kalguksu noodles and it would be perfect clam kalguksu, but I was too full to try it—that was such a shame ㅠㅠ..
Crispy seafood scallion pancake loaded with seafood

Wow.. I actually don’t usually like Korean pancakes, you know? But this was really delicious!! It was so crispy, and why was there this much seafood..? By the end I was full and thought I couldn’t eat another bite, yet I was still poking around the edges of the seafood pancake with my chopsticks and picking out every last piece of seafood.. haha.
Dog-friendly and parking details
Bringing dogs
This is a dog-friendly restaurant. It’s honestly such a great place for people who go out with their dogs like we do. Dogs are allowed if they are in a stroller or carrier. However, you need to be able to provide proof of vaccination, so I think it’s best to check before visiting.
Since we’re raising a baby and a dog together, whether a restaurant allows dogs is something I pay close attention to, and I liked this part too. 🐶
Parking
You can park in the building basement. Parking is free for 1 hour, or 2 hours if you drink alcohol. It made visiting by car feel less burdensome too.
Most of all, the restaurant was generally spacious and clean, so it didn’t feel cramped while eating. It looked like a good spot for a family visit or a meal with a larger group too.
My thoughts after a family mulhoe meal in Gyeyang
Overall, the assorted mulhoe at Muirang Mulhoerang was satisfying because the seafood was varied and the seasoning was delicious. Especially if you love mulhoe, I recommend finishing it with corn noodles instead of eating only the sashimi!
The mulhoe naturally made me crave a drink, but it was daytime and we had the baby with us, so we’ll have to go back next time^^.. The restaurant was spacious and clean, has free parking time, and allows dogs in a stroller or carrier, so it was a nice place for a family meal or a meal while raising a baby and dog together. 😊
They also have cup mulhoe, so it seems like it would be nice to get one to go for a simple meal! On a day when you’re craving cool, generous mulhoe, I recommend Muirang Mulhoerang! 🐟💙
