Changwon Italian restaurant with thin cream pasta: Haedeun
In short
Haedeun is an Italian restaurant on the inner Guisan coast in Changwon, Gyeongnam. I tried its Sunshine Cream Pasta and lightly spicy Beef Tomato Risotto, then enjoyed the sunny seating and photo spot. Verdict: Haedeun is a lovely choice for a drive-date or wedding-invitation gathering.

Haedeun (해든), a popular spot in Guisan-dong, Changwon, sits by the sea on the inner side of Guisan! I had visited the café in the same building with my family before, so I already knew the place—but there was a delicious pasta restaurant on the first floor, so in I went. It is packed with tasty Italian dishes.

They serve pasta, gnocchi, pilaf, risotto, and sous-vide steak. Prices are in the high ₩10,000 range, which felt just right and reasonable, haha.
The steak is limited to 15 servings a day, so I recommend booking ahead or arriving before it sells out~! There are delicious ades and drinks, plus several wines, so it is nice to have a simple drink alongside your meal. Corkage is free! They also offer birthday benefits, high chairs, and wheelchair access, so keep that in mind before you visit.

QR ordering and sunny seats
At Haedeun, you can order easily using the QR code at each table. You pay when you leave~? I liked being able to browse and choose comfortably on my own phone. Once you add items and tap order, it goes straight to the kitchen—so convenient. I really love QR ordering systems!

Haedeun has sunny window seats, with a range of tables for groups as well as parties of two or four. I am right in the middle of wedding-invitation gatherings these days, and this place was perfect for one too~?

While waiting for our food, we snapped a shot at the photo spot! The weather was lovely, and there was a selfie zone nearby too. With lots of potted plants around, the whole place had a fresh(?) feel.
What we ordered

- Beef Tomato Risotto: ₩18,500
- Sunshine Cream Pasta: ₩17,800
- Tangerine Juice: ₩2,000

Warm, crisply toasted pre-meal bread arrived too. I could not quite tell what the sauce was. I ate it thinking, “Is it honey?” but it was not sweet~!

The self-serve pickle station is by the kitchen! You can help yourself, of course—Italian food would not be complete without pickles. It seems they serve an initial portion first, and you can come back for more if you need it~! We could not wait and grabbed some when the bread came out, hehe.

The texture of the Beef Tomato Risotto
Tomato beef risotto topped with meat. The beef was tender and delicious. My meat-loving partner absolutely loved it. It was spread thinly across a wide pan, but the portion was quite generous!
There were little crunchy bits that seemed to be fried garlic too, and they gave it such a great texture. It was different from the usual purely creamy risotto texture!? It was also lightly spicy, so it is a menu item I would recommend to people who enjoy spicy food~?

Sunshine Cream Pasta with lovely thin noodles
Cream pasta made with thin noodles! I heard Haedeun, a popular restaurant in Guisan-dong, Changwon, does cream pasta well, so I ordered it right away. As befits a signature dish, it was so delicious. The cream was smooth without being too rich—just right~? I would recommend it to anyone who usually loves cream pasta.
I tend to order rosé wherever I go, but there was no rosé here, so I thought, “Let’s try what this place does well!” and ordered this instead. I was so glad I did. I loved the thin pasta noodles, which are hard to find elsewhere, and it was exactly right even for my rosé-only kind of palate.

Haedeun is a delicious Italian restaurant on the inner Guisan coastline. It is wonderful for a date and a perfect match for a wedding-invitation gathering too. I recommend it if you want a tasty, enjoyable time at the end of a drive.
