As the weather cooled down, I felt like heading out for some vintage shopping 🍂 Vintage always makes me think of the Dongmyo flea market first, but while there's fun in digging up hidden gems there, the clothes aren't always well cared for and buyers often have to inspect condition really carefully.

Right then, Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun Dongdaemun Branch — known among Dongmyo-style vintage shops for keeping its clothes in really clean, well-maintained condition — popped up on my algorithm, so I headed straight over! 🏃‍♀️

Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun Dongdaemun Branch connects directly to Exit 11 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station. I visited leisurely on a Friday afternoon, and being right at the exit made it super easy to find haha

Take the escalator up to the 5th floor and you land right in a 200-pyeong warehouse-style vintage store — the space is huge and wide open! At secondhand shops I usually catch that musty dust smell, but here there was none of that; the store itself was clean and pleasant, making browsing really comfortable ✨

I'd heard Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun Dongdaemun Branch imports secondhand items directly from around the world, and it really did feel like a stylish, upscale secondhand store.

They had a huge range of outerwear too, from cute short coats to long coats. Even though it's vintage, there was no pilling or staining visible and the clothes were kept in clean condition, so it felt like a treasure hunt shopping around here haha

There were plenty of that nostalgic digital camera type people want one of these days for the Y2K vibe!

Seeing them in person, they were so cute my wallet just opened itself 📸

There was also a densely packed rack of neckties with unique, pretty patterns. The moment I saw them, I thought of a friend who collects vintage ties and sent her a photo >-<

And here's a zone Kitty lovers can't walk past 🚨 all kinds of cute Hello Kitty trinkets were on sale here too haha

The fork was too cute so I grabbed one

There were also Disney cups, Miffy tableware, and lots of cute acrylic/gemstone rings,

and even tamagotchis, the nostalgic toy I used to have glued to my hand as a kid, were on sale — I really got a proper trip down memory lane at this Dongdaemun vintage shop ✨
