A Namdaemun Market eyewear store near Hoehyeon Station
Maybe because it had been a while since my mom got her glasses, but her frames were starting to look rather old. So I thought it was time to get her a new pair! While looking for an eyewear store in Namdaemun Market, I heard about a place with lots of styles and colors that helps you choose what suits you best, so I came here with my mom.
It was only a five-minute walk from Hoehyeon Station, so the location was great.

We stepped inside, and would you believe there were already so many customers in there?

Looking over the frame styles and price ranges
We started browsing in earnest. As I looked around, some of the sale items at affordable prices caught my eye.

But what I really liked was that there were so many different styles.

And honestly, no matter how good the price is, you won't buy something if the design isn't pretty. There were lots of lovely designs too, which I liked.

As we kept looking, we found so many frame designs—from thick plastic frames to metal ones.

There was a wide range of prices as well as styles. Along with affordable options, there were high-end branded frames, so it was easy to buy according to your budget and taste.

Getting a recommendation for slim light-purple frames
It had been a long time since my mom had shopped for glasses, and after browsing for a while, she was really stuck on what to choose. Then a staff member came over and kindly asked what color and type she was looking for.

Her current pair had light-pink thick plastic frames, so we said that this time she wanted slim frames in light purple.

They showed us and recommended several slim light-purple frames, so she could choose one that matched her taste.

From children's glasses to adult sunglasses
They also sell items for children, you know! We could look at children's glasses and sunglasses too.

There were sunglasses for adults as well.

Aren't the colors and shapes incredibly varied?

I had replaced my sunglasses not long ago, but there were so many pairs here that I liked. They had everything from low-priced sunglasses to well-known brands, making this a great place to find exactly what you want. I also filmed a video so you can take a closer look at the sunglasses selection, so please use it as a reference.
A thorough eye exam and photochromic lens option
Once she chose her frames, it was time for the eye exam. They were so meticulous with every single step!

They also asked in detail about anything that felt uncomfortable.

They made sure my mom could have her eye exam comfortably.

They did everything accurately without missing a thing, so she could get just the right prescription. It really was one of the places in Namdaemun Market that does glasses well.

For reference, there are gifts available if you take part in the Naver event.

They also offered photochromic lenses, which let regular glasses turn into sunglasses outdoors.

My mom already has two pairs of sunglasses, so after thinking about it a little, she decided to go without photochromic lenses. They told us to come back an hour after the exam, so we explored the market enthusiastically and returned an hour later. They welcomed us right away, saying her glasses were ready! Then they adjusted them once more to fit my mom's face. Once everything was adjusted, they put them in a case like this.
Light new glasses that suited her face beautifully
When we got home, my mom took out her new glasses. Aren't the shape and color so pretty? She came home, took off her sunglasses, and put on the pair she had just had made. She was so pleased, saying they were very light and suited her face so well. And they looked wonderful to me too, so I thought we had made a great change! If you are looking for an eyewear store in Namdaemun Market, or one with good prices and kind service, I recommend stopping by here.
