Where is Cafe Cozy Bear in Songdo?

Cozy Bear is a newly opened salt bread bakery café on the first floor of Carris Plaza, behind Songdo Mart in the Songdo hagwon (cram school) district of Incheon. I went to check out this new salt bread spot in the neighborhood. Being right in the hagwon area, it's a great place to stop by after dropping your kid off at academy, or just to pick up a snack.
If you're driving, you can use the building's parking lot or the public parking lot in front of the store. I love salt bread and have tried it all over the place, but Cozy Bear's salt bread got a thumbs up the moment I took a bite!

My daughter is such a salt bread lover that her reactions to taste are pretty reliable, haha. She said it was delicious the moment she took a bite. 👍

A must-visit if you love salt bread — Cozy Bear
Cozy Bear salt bread bake times and opening hours
Cozy Bear's salt bread comes out twice a day, at 9am and 2pm. Since they only bake a set quantity each day, once it's sold out, it may close early on that item.

If you're visiting specifically for the salt bread, it's best to time your visit around these hours. If you're planning to go early in the morning or in the afternoon, it might be worth checking ahead. :) The store operates from 9am to 7pm, Monday through Saturday, and is closed on Sundays.

This is the view looking straight from Harbor View. You can see the Cozy Bear sign diagonally across. If you're just picking up takeout, you can park briefly in the public lot. But on weekends parking is brutal, so it's better to use the building lot!

Don't miss the opening event: buy 3 salt breads, get 1 free! :)

From basic to potato, pollock roe, and red bean butter, you can pick based on your taste. :)

How does the basic salt bread taste?
We tried Cozy Bear's basic salt bread, and my daughter really loved it. :) 💚 Salt breads can look similar but the butter flavor and saltiness vary from place to place. Cozy Bear's salt bread had a great balance between the savory butter taste and the saltiness. !!!

It wasn't too salty, and the butter flavor kept coming through, so I kept reaching for more. Most of all, my daughter, who really loves salt bread, said it was "so delicious" after trying it. ^^ I've had salt bread from many places, and seeing her approve it right away made me kind of proud too. 😊

You can enjoy it comfortably in the dine-in area too.

They're running a Naver review event too — if you get your receipt and leave a review, you can get an iced tea. :)
Pairing Cozy Bear salt bread with coffee
Even tastier with coffee alongside

I ordered coffee along with the salt bread. Cozy Bear uses beans roasted in collaboration with a national-team-level barista. !!! :) The coffee went really well with the salt bread. When the buttery flavor lingered in my mouth, a sip of coffee cleaned it right up. 😊

I like pairing bread with coffee, so this combo was right up my alley. 💚

One bite of salt bread, a sip of coffee, another bite, another sip — before I knew it, it was all gone. Hehe~
Why Cozy Bear works as an after-school snack stop
I always struggled with what to buy when picking up a snack after dropping the kids off at academy. Cozy Bear's salt bread was a choice I didn't regret! :) There are so many varieties that I want to try something different next time.
If you're looking for a bakery café in Songdo, Incheon, or a salt bread spot in Songdo, keep this new Cozy Bear in the hagwon district on your list! :) You'll taste a level of salt bread that's a cut above the usual. !! 🌸 When you visit, it helps to check the salt bread bake times and closing day in advance.
