Incheon sashimi lunch set with free parking: Songdo Jonghap Eosijang
In short
Songdo Jonghap Eosijang is a budget sashimi restaurant on the first floor of Chaoreum Plaza in Yeonsu, Incheon. A couple visiting on a weekday afternoon ordered the 12,000 won per person lunch set, which arrived with assorted sashimi, sushi, sea squirt, fried shrimp, steamed egg, seasoned vegetables, spicy fish stew and a self-serve bar, closer to a buffet than a set menu. The meal also came with a 2-hour free voucher for the underground parking lot, complimentary dakgangjeong (sweet crispy fried chicken) and a free coffee machine.

Did September start off lively for you? The mornings and evenings are cool now, perfect weather to be outside. I opened the window last night with the AC off and was surprised how cool it actually felt — thought it was time to turn off the AC for good, but it's still a bit humid. My son's class also just wrapped up last week, so I'm feeling lighter and ready to welcome fall haha.
These days our family's most frequent spot is Songdo lol. Especially the basement level of Triple Street — perfect for rain or heat since it's all indoor! It connects underground to Songhyeon-a, so we make a loop through Kyobo Book Centre and the food court there and check out whatever new pop-up is on, and that's become our little pleasure haha. When we want to go somewhere but don't have much time, crossing the Incheon Bridge for an outing works perfectly — lately we've been going once a week, sometimes twice lol.
What comes with the 12,000 won lunch set at Songdo Jonghap Eosijang?
The lunch set sashimi meal at Songdo Jonghap Eosijang (송도종합어시장) is ₩12,000 per person. Not long ago, my husband and I both had the day off and headed to Songdo again for lunch lol — great value at ₩12,000 per person for the lunch set at this Songdo sashimi restaurant, and we came back stuffed :) It's not technically a buffet, but it really felt like an all-you-can-eat one. Not just a lot of dishes — a well-thought-out lineup of things we actually like.
Parking: 2 hours free in the Chaoreum Plaza underground lot
It's located at 165 Haedoiji-ro, 1st floor, in the Chaoreum Plaza building. Whenever a restaurant is attached to a building, it can be tricky to find the parking entrance, so knowing the building name in advance really helps ^^

The underground parking lot is well set up so there's no worry about parking. After eating, the restaurant gives you a 2-hour free parking voucher — just insert it when you leave ^^

The exterior is unmistakably a sashimi restaurant, right? Haha. It's a place packed with in-season seafood. Apparently it's well known among nearby residents as a great-value Songdo sashimi restaurant.

Gizzard shad sashimi, in season this fall~ But we're going for the lunch set sashimi meal. At ₩12,000, it comes with assorted sashimi + sushi + sea squirt + fried shrimp + steamed egg + seasoned vegetables + spicy fish stew + access to the self-serve bar — a hearty, no-shortage lineup. Order hours only run from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, so everyone go get that lunch deal!!

Inside Songdo Jonghap Eosijang: the room and the other menus
Inside Songdo Jonghap Eosijang, it's cool and clean ^^ When we visited, it looked like they were busy prepping for a group order ^^

Besides our lunch set, this Songdo seafood market restaurant offers seasonal specials, sushi, single-item meals, mixed platters, sekkoshi (thin-sliced small fish sashimi), and all kinds of other seafood haha.

How the sashimi set is served, dish by dish
Salad, white kimchi, wrap vegetables, seasoned vegetables, and seaweed soup come out right away ^^ (the seaweed soup broth is rich and delicious)

Then the table quickly fills up with steamed egg, sushi (2 pieces per person), sea squirt, fried shrimp, and assorted sashimi ^^!! The assorted sashimi selection seems random — we think we got mullet and flounder — the portion was just right and the slices were thick. Above all, it was fresh, so we really got our money's worth from the lunch set~

Look how full the table is, right? I know how pricey sashimi restaurants can be, but the lunch set sashimi meal has a great lineup and the taste, value — nothing about it falls short!
It really felt like coming back from a buffet lol. We got that full, and ate a good variety of everything. The assorted sashimi at lunch felt even more special somehow.

The sushi dipped in wasabi soy sauce, and the sashimi wrapped with seasoned vegetables and raw garlic in ssamjang (dipping paste), were so good haha.

Finishing with spicy fish stew and complimentary dakgangjeong
And it's not over yet. Near the end of the meal, if you ask for the spicy fish stew (maeuntang), they'll bring it out — it's included in the set. With that broth, the meal wraps up perfectly. Rice bowls are extra (₩1,000), but it felt wrong not to have one, so we each cleared a bowl — which left us completely stuffed lol.
Just as we were about to get up after finishing, they gave us 2 pieces of fried chicken on the house ^^ There's also a coffee machine, so you can grab a free coffee on your way out — a perfect lunch set sashimi meal.
