Two-burger taste test at a Jamsil Station burger restaurant: Daily Fix

Before heading to Juno Hair in Jamsil, my husband and I were looking for a Jamsil Station burger restaurant for lunch, and we ended up at Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga :)

My husband had wanted to visit the Gangnam flagship for a while but the timing never worked out. Since we happened to be in Jamsil this time and Daily Fix has a location inside Jangmi Sangga (장미상가, an old shopping arcade), we went there instead.

This is also the place known for Davichi's Kang Min-kyung raving about the food, so it's become a bit of a Kang Min-kyung spot. My husband loves burgers so he'd been curious about it, and I was looking forward to it too.

Here's my review after trying the bacon cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, and bacon cheese french fries 😊

How to find Daily Fix inside Jangmi Sangga

Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga is located at B2-13 in the basement of Building B. First-time visitors might get a bit turned around inside the arcade, but it's right next to Poppai Bunsik, Shibuya Donkatsu, and Lisar Coffee.

It's close to Building B entrances 6–8, and if you walk in between the octopus restaurant and the tofu place, you'll spot it — I found it easier than expected.

With the old-school vibe of Jangmi Sangga and all the surrounding shops, I honestly wondered if a burger restaurant could really be here, but once I got to the storefront, the atmosphere was completely different.

Inside Daily Fix: interior and seating

The yellow accents caught my eye. Stepping inside, the yellow color I love paired with wood tones gave it a retro feel.

Being lunchtime, plenty of people were already eating, and delivery orders kept coming in too. There's a bar table that looked good for solo diners, plus 2-seat and 4-seat tables that worked well for couples or friends, like us. The staff were kind and attentive even while busy ･ᴗ･

QR code ordering and 100% Korean beef patties

You order using the QR code at your table. Daily Fix says it uses 100% Korean beef (hanwoo) patties for all its burgers.

We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, a double cheeseburger, bacon cheese french fries, and drinks. With a burger and a side each, it made for a filling lunch for two.

Drinks are refillable, but ours came out in big enough cups that we didn't need a refill. There was also a Naver review event going on — write a review and you get coleslaw or corn salad, so it's worth joining in if you visit.

The bacon cheeseburger Kang Min-kyung raved about

First up was the bacon cheeseburger I'd been wanting to try. Since it's the one Davichi's Kang Min-kyung praised so highly, I was extra curious — the patty was thick and looked delicious at a glance.

The bacon cheeseburger uses house-smoked homemade bacon and a thick 100% hanwoo patty. One bite in, I could taste the patty's juiciness together with the bacon's smoky flavor, and with the cheese on top, it had that rich, classic burger taste.

The bacon in particular didn't feel like a thin, token slice, so bacon lovers will really enjoy this one.

The double cheeseburger: two patties, two slices of cheese

I was curious about the double cheeseburger too, so my husband and I split it. The double cheeseburger has two thick patties topped with both American and Swiss cheese.

With two patties, the meaty flavor really came through on the first bite, and with cheese layered in between, it felt richer and more savory.

It comes down to preference, but my husband liked the bacon cheeseburger — the Kang Min-kyung recommendation — a bit more, while I preferred the double cheeseburger ☆

The bacon cheese french fries we ordered as a side kept getting picked at — I was glad we ordered them.

Crispy fries topped generously with rich cheese, sautéed onions, and bacon made it feel completely different from regular fries. The heavy cheese made it a great pairing to eat alongside the burgers, and the sautéed onions and bacon added a salty, savory depth.

You can also swap in thick-cut fries and add extra dipping sauce (signature, ranch, hot ketchup, green mayo, cheongyang chili mayo). We asked for jalapeños too, and they brought some over separately ღ

With the burgers and fries together, it was a really filling lunch. It seemed like a great option if you're looking for something different for lunch around Jangmi Sangga, and also a good fit if you're searching for a Jamsil burger restaurant and like this style. Next time I'd like to try the eggplant fries.

Which burger won at Daily Fix in Jamsil

Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga is inside Jangmi Sangga near Seokchon Lake and Lotte Tower, so it was quite accessible. Naver Reservations and parking are both available, so keep that in mind before visiting.

Using 100% hanwoo patties and making everything in-house, with homemade bacon and special sauces added in, it really felt like enjoying one burger properly. The New York diner-style interior also felt like a nice surprise tucked inside Jangmi Sangga.

So if you were curious about this Kang Min-kyung spot, or you just love a good handmade burger, it's worth a visit. My husband, who never made it to the Gangnam flagship, was happy he finally got to try it here in Jamsil :)
