Gangnam Korean restaurant for three dakgalbi flavors: Yanggyegok

In short

Yanggyegok is a Korean restaurant near Yangjae Station in Gangnam, Seoul. I enjoyed gochujang, salt, and soy sauce dakgalbi with grilled seasoned deodeok and cheese fish roe fried rice. Verdict: a great choice for a work dinner with fellow dakgalbi lovers.

I’d like to introduce a Dogok-dong chicken restaurant that is spotlessly maintained and serves a variety of dakgalbi.

You could tell at a glance that the place was kept very clean, which I appreciated.

The tables were nicely spaced apart, too.

A staff member cut up the first batch of dakgalbi, making it easy to eat.

They also tended to the grill regularly, and I liked that attentiveness.

Here, the cheese is spread evenly all the way through the inside, too—such a thoughtful touch, so you can enjoy cheese in every bite!

It was so good I kept reaching for it; it ranks among the top three fried rices I’ve had at meat restaurants.

If you are looking for an office-worker dinner spot near Yangjae Station or a good restaurant in Dogok-dong, this is a Yangjae Station meat restaurant worth visiting with someone who loves dakgalbi.
