Hojicha affogato-style Wunder Gato at Songdo outlet café: Wunder
In short
Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is a takeout-only café on the basement floor food square of the Hyundai Premium Outlet in Songdo, Yeonsu, Incheon. A shopping break brought an iceumeu-style Wunder Coffee, an iced americano, and the signature hojicha Wunder Gato, eaten scoop-first, latte-second, then mixed together. The nutty, slightly bitter hojicha ice cream paired so well with the latte that a repeat visit is always on the cards.

I stopped by Wunder Coffee Bar, the Songdo coffee spot I always visit whenever I'm shopping at Hyundai Premium Outlet. It's a great place to take a break mid-shop, and also great for a sugar refill with the Wunder Gato, which comes topped with sweet ice cream over latte.
My favorite menu item here is the hojicha Wunder Gato. The bittersweet hojicha (roasted green tea) ice cream pairs surprisingly well with the smooth latte, so I end up ordering it every time. This time too, I ran low on sugar mid-shop and got one right away! So here's my review of Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch.

Wunder Coffee Bar is located near the food square on the basement floor of the outlet. It's connected to Techno Park Station, so it's convenient to reach by public transit, and it's also on the route over to Triple Street.
Best of all, you can shop, eat, and grab coffee all within the outlet without stepping outside — that's the advantage of this café. Great for a quick stop when a coffee craving hits mid-shop.
Store atmosphere and seating — takeout only

It's an open-format store inside the mall, and takeout only! It's not the kind of place with a spacious, independent café-style seating area.

Instead, there are plenty of shared tables nearby where you can sit and drink, which was enough for a quick pause while shopping. Since it's a café inside a mall, the vibe suits a quick coffee break between shopping rather than settling in for a long, quiet sit. The store itself was clean and calm, good for catching a breath.
What I ordered & prices

I kept it simple with three items this time.
- Iced Americano ₩5,000
- Wunder Gato (Hojicha) ₩7,500
- Wunder Coffee ₩6,800
As befits a Songdo coffee favorite, there's a wide menu, but this time I ordered an iced americano to quench my thirst, and picked the signature hojicha Wunder Gato for a proper sugar boost. I also ordered the Wunder Coffee, their iceumeu-style drink!

The Wunder Gato is a latte topped with soft-serve ice cream. You can choose between vanilla, hojicha, or twist mix — I went with hojicha without a second thought.
Honest taste review

Nothing beats an iced americano for washing the shopping fatigue out of your mouth. It was clean and nutty, easy to drink, and personally I liked that it had no acidity — I drank it right down. The americano's clean taste was refreshing.

Hojicha Wunder Gato — a generous scoop of ice cream
My favorite, the hojicha Wunder Gato. First off, the ice cream on top is generously sized. You can taste hojicha's distinct nutty, slightly sweet flavor — it wasn't just plain sweet ice cream, which I liked even more. I love the slightly bitter taste of green tea or hojicha, so this was very much my type.

At first I just scooped and ate the ice cream on its own — the smooth, nutty hojicha flavor came through quite strongly. Then I mixed it with the latte underneath, and it was a whole different flavor.
As the ice cream slowly melted and blended with the latte, it turned into a sweet, smooth hojicha latte feel — this was delicious too.

Instead of mixing everything together from the start, I'd recommend this order: ice cream alone → latte alone → mix at the end!

Iceumeu-style Wunder Coffee
I also tried a sip of the Wunder Coffee — an iceumeu-style latte with rich milk foam on top and strong espresso underneath. The soft milk foam and bold coffee came through together, making it an easy, enjoyable drink for anyone who likes lattes.
Final thoughts

If you're shopping at the outlet and want something a bit special in coffee and dessert, I recommend Wunder Coffee Bar. Especially if you're into green tea or hojicha like me, the hojicha Wunder Gato is worth trying at least once.
The generous scoop of ice cream on top makes it feel like eating dessert, and mixing it with the latte lets you knock out coffee and dessert in one go — I loved it. Personally, the nutty, bittersweet flavor of hojicha really won me over.
If you're looking for a Songdo café to take a break at while shopping at the outlet, give Wunder Coffee Bar a try. Next time I'll have to try the vanilla or twist mix. I'd always come back.
