Japanese restaurant in Songdo for modan okonomiyaki: Jojo
In short
Jojo Triple Street Branch is a Japanese restaurant in Yeonsu, Incheon, serving Osaka-style teppanyaki dishes. After a 20-minute weekday-evening wait, I had buta cheese okonomiyaki with modan noodles and yakisoba, both kept warm on the griddle. Verdict: a great pick when you’re craving proper okonomiyaki.

Weekday evening wait and restaurant atmosphere
Jojo Triple Street Branch is on the first floor of Building C at the Triple Street complex! I visited on a weekday evening, and there was a wait! Really made me realize how popular it is again, haha. You can join the waitlist through the Catchtable app or the kiosk in front of the restaurant. We got in after waiting about 20 minutes!

Teppanyaki dishes sold at Jojo
Jojo serves okonomiyaki, monjayaki, yakisoba, and more! Osaka-style teppanyaki at reasonable prices! Haha. The set menus seemed like an even better-value way to enjoy it. I also loved that there was a wide range of drinks, including draft beer, highballs, and sake!

Even on a weekday evening, the restaurant was packed! Haha. It is not huge, but the tables are nicely spaced out and it felt very comfortable! Haha. The staff were incredibly kind too, which was lovely.

Jojo uses a specially made large griddle in the traditional Osaka style, so you can enjoy classic Japanese teppanyaki dishes! Haha. It really makes you feel like you have come to Japan! Haha. Delicious okonomiyaki without having to go to Japan!

The side dishes were danmuji (pickled yellow radish) and pickled peppers. They were refreshing and delicious!! Haha. Teppanyaki can get a little rich and greasy as you eat, so these are essential, essential~~ haha.

Each table has sauces ready for you, so you can add more if you need it! Haha.

“Secretly Drinking Suntory” and our order
Before the food arrived, I ordered a 200 ml Suntory. Its menu name is “Secretly Drinking Suntory 200 ml,” hahaha. So cute, right? Hahaha. It was nice and refreshing for a casual little sip!

A little later, our buta cheese okonomiyaki and yakisoba arrived! Hahaha. They looked absolutely mouthwatering, right? >_<

I loved that we could eat them on the warm griddle, so they did not get cold and stayed warm right to the end, haha.

Buta cheese okonomiyaki with modan noodles
We ordered the buta cheese okonomiyaki and added modan noodles as a topping! The rich sweet-and-salty sauce was soooo delicious ㅠㅠ ❤️ It is not easy to find truly proper okonomiyaki, but this was really delicious ♡♡ No need to go to Japan!!

How the seafood yakisoba tasted
Yakisoba with such a mouthwatering look!! It had lots of seafood in it, including shrimp and squid! The fried egg casually placed on top made it look even more irresistible ♡

Jojo’s yakisoba was packed with umami too, so I enjoyed it so much!! Haha. They also sell monjayaki, and I heard it is delicious, so I definitely need to try it next time!
If you want proper Osaka-style teppanyaki and okonomiyaki, I totally recommend Jojo!!
