What the Saeng Augustine Hapjeong Branch exterior and interior look like
Saeng Augustine Hapjeong Branch is located on basement level 1 of Mecenatpolis near Hapjeong Station!

If you park in the building's basement parking lot and take the elevator up, the restaurant is right there — easy to find! >_<

The interior really has that Thai vibe going on! The seating ranges from big tables to two-person seats, so it seemed perfect for family gatherings or work dinners too!

The interior atmosphere is so nice, right?! Feels like you don't even need to go to Thailand haha

The menu has a real variety of Thai dishes, from crab curry to pho and pad thai!

They said you get free vegetable spring rolls for a Naver receipt review, so keep that in mind >_<
The three dishes we ordered at Saeng Augustine Hapjeong Branch

We ordered three dishes: tom yum goong with added rice noodles, nasi goreng, and shrimp hagau!

Tom yum goong with rice noodles added
First up, the tom yum goong. I personally love tom yum goong so much that it's a must-eat whenever I travel to Thailand!

The broth was so sweet and sour with plenty of spice flavor — it really tasted close to the tom yum goong you'd get in Thailand! It was packed with seafood and vegetables too, so I was completely satisfied >_<

We also added rice noodles, and they went so well with the tom yum broth! If you're ordering the tom yum goong, I definitely recommend adding the rice noodles 🤩
Nasi goreng: the husband's number one
Next up, the nasi goreng. The visuals were seriously amazing, right?!

It came topped with a fried egg and loaded with all kinds of seafood, so it was really filling! The seasoning was just right, too — my husband gave it a thumbs up and said it was the number one nasi goreng he's ever had!
Shrimp har gow (steamed shrimp dumplings)
Lastly, the shrimp hagau (shrimp dumplings). I love hagau so much whenever I travel to Southeast Asia or China, so it's always a must-order!

The shrimp hagau at Saeng Augustine Hapjeong Branch was just as good as what you'd get at a dedicated dim sum place — the shrimp was so plump and delicious! One unique touch: instead of soy sauce, they served a sauce that tasted like chojang (vinegared chili paste), which was an interesting flavor ^.^
Is Saeng Augustine Hapjeong Branch worth a visit?
Saeng Augustine Hapjeong Branch, a Hapjeong date spot that really captured the feel of Thailand 💛 Anyone who loves Thai food is bound to love this place! The staff were really friendly too, and I was surprised at how close the food tasted to the real thing in Thailand! I go on dates around Mecenatpolis pretty often, so I'll definitely be back! The interior is really nice and spacious too, so it seems perfect for dates or all kinds of gatherings! Anyway, I had such a delicious meal again and I'm feeling so, so happy about it!
