Seoul lake-view café: 24,900 won club sandwich set, Cafe The Venezia

I've been living in Wirye and always wanted to visit Cafe The Venezia, a place right near Wirye Lake Park. It's known among locals as a Wirye neighborhood favorite, since you can enjoy delicious brunch while looking out at the lake park view I love so much. I finally made it here!

Weekend lunch wait and the terrace lake park view

Cafe The Venezia can have a wait if you go for weekend lunch. We didn't have a table either, so we waited until an outdoor terrace seat opened up.

I came for brunch on a weekend afternoon, and sure enough, it was packed since it was the weekend! When we arrived there were no seats, so we waited until a terrace spot opened up 👍🏻 Since it's already a word-of-mouth favorite café, there might be a wait on weekends...!!

There's indoor and outdoor seating, and I chose outdoor because I wanted to enjoy brunch while looking at the lake park view! (It was raining that day, which gave it a nice atmosphere — but if you visit on a clear day, definitely try the terrace seats!)

Indoor seats at Cafe The Venezia for groups and families

The café's interior is large, so it's a good spot for group gatherings or for families to spend relaxed time together. There are more indoor seats than it looks from outside, and they're cozy, so the indoor seating looked pretty good too!

Brunch sets and how late you can order them

Cafe The Venezia's brunch sets come in a set for one and a set for two, and brunch can apparently only be ordered from opening until 2:30 PM.

The menu has drinks, bread, brunch, and more, but brunch is only available from opening until 2:30 PM! I came for brunch today, but the bread looked so good I might come back just for that next time!

Given the location and food quality, the prices are friendly, so it doesn't feel like a burden to visit often! You can click the menu board to zoom in — they have everything from coffee to non-coffee drinks and ades.

The club sandwich set for two comes with a sandwich, a salad, and two Americanos, for 24,900 won. I timed my visit for lunch to catch the brunch hours.

Since I came for brunch today, I timed it to arrive for lunch and ordered the club sandwich set for two. It comes as a set with sandwich, salad, and two Americanos, for 24,900 won!

They have blankets and cushions ready for guests, which makes it nice and comfortable to use!

It was a good portion for two people to share, and the amount felt just right. It was more filling than I expected and felt like a solid deal for the price. Next time I come alone, I might try the set for one, haha.

How the club sandwich tasted

The club sandwich's bread was especially good — soft and nutty, really appealing! The vegetables inside were fresh and crisp, the sauce was sweet and delicious, and everything came together well! They also gave the salad dressing on the side, haha.

I came for brunch, but it was hearty enough to be a proper lunch and hit the spot perfectly. If you pay an extra charge, you can swap the coffee for a different drink.

Can you see how the sandwich doesn't even fit in one hand? So packed! The salad that came with it had cheese, fruit, and lettuce in generous amounts, so between the sandwich and the salad it was a truly complete meal!

Looking out at the lake, chatting with my husband over good food — it put me in such a good mood 👍🏻 If you're looking for a good-vibe brunch café in Wirye, or a place to visit in Wirye on the weekend, come to Cafe The Venezia!
