Wirye brunch café, bulgogi panini set for two: Cafe The Venezia

I headed toward Wirye Lake Park for lunch and a coffee, and ended up at Cafe The Venezia haha.

There are quite a few cafés around Wirye Lake Park, but this one isn't just for coffee — it also has a solid lineup of sandwiches and brunch, so it works well as a meal stop too. Best of all, Wirye Lake Park stretches out right in front of the café, so on a nice day the atmosphere was really lovely lol.

Where is Cafe The Venezia, and is there parking?

Cafe The Venezia is located at 1F, Units 112 and 112-1, Seonghui Plaza, 199 Wiryegwangjang-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul. It takes up a wide corner of the building, so the big CAFE THE VENEZIA sign catches your eye from a distance haha.

Wirye Lake Park is right in front, so it's a great spot to follow up your meal with a walk. I drove there, and since the café offers 2 hours 30 minutes of free parking with a purchase, the parking time felt pretty generous.

Time flies when you're eating brunch and chatting over coffee, so 2.5 hours is actually quite a lot lol.

Inside Cafe The Venezia: window seats and an outdoor terrace

From the outside, Cafe The Venezia's floor-to-ceiling windows and wide terrace stand out right away. Once it cools down, sitting on the outdoor terrace with a coffee while looking out at the lake park would be lovely haha.

Inside, wood-toned furniture, brick, and a chandelier come together for a somewhat classic mood. The windows are so large that the interior never feels cramped, and the window seats have a wide-open view outside.

When I visited, a lot of people were enjoying brunch or gathering with friends lol. There's a fair number of seats too, so it seems like a good option for family get-togethers or a brunch outing with friends in Wirye.

Cafe The Venezia menu and prices

You order at Cafe The Venezia through a kiosk, which makes it simple. The drink lineup is pretty varied, from Americano to lattes, signature coffee, non-coffee drinks, smoothies, tea, and juice haha. The sandwiches also come in several types — BLT, arugula ricotta, salmon, shrimp, mushroom, and the grilled bulgogi panini.

There are brunch sets for one or two people, so it's easy to order based on how many are in your group. Americano is ₩4,500, and the à la carte sandwiches are mostly priced in the low ₩10,000s.

There's also bakery items and desserts like tiramisu, cheese soufflé, and cookies-and-cream cake, so it seems fine to visit just for coffee and dessert rather than brunch lol.

What comes in the 27,200 won bulgogi panini brunch set for two

What I ordered that day was the grilled bulgogi panini brunch set for two. It cost ₩27,200 and came with the grilled bulgogi panini, a salad, and two cups of Americano.

As soon as the food arrived, I was a little surprised at how big the salad was lol. A big wooden plate was piled high with vegetables, along with corn, olives, cheese, nuts, and even mushrooms — quite a generous portion.

The mushrooms on top especially paired well with the sauce, so it didn't feel like a plain veggies-only salad haha. The sauce also comes on the side, so you can drizzle as much as you like.

The panini came cut into two pieces for easy eating. The outside was lightly pressed and grilled, giving it a savory, chewy bite, and the inside was packed with grilled bulgogi, cheese, and vegetables — filling enough that even one piece felt fairly substantial haha.

The cheese was melted warm and soft, so eating it together with the bulgogi brought out a nicely mild, savory flavor. Since the salad came in such generous portions, alternating a bite of panini with some fresh vegetables was a great combo lol. Some brunch places skimp on portions, but here, the set was enough for two people to have a light lunch.

The brunch set also comes with two cups of Americano. After finishing the panini and salad, sipping an iced Americano and relaxing for a while was really nice haha. Best of all, with the lake park view through the big windows, it felt less cramped than a typical city café.

A walk around Wirye Lake Park after brunch

After the meal, I took a loop around Wirye Lake Park right out front, and the sky was so pretty that day it really refreshed me lol. If you're looking for a café in Wirye where you can enjoy brunch and coffee, plus a walk around the lake park, Cafe The Venezia is worth a visit.

Parking was easy with the 2.5-hour free parking, and the brunch portion was more generous than I expected, so I left satisfied haha. I'll have to come back next time to try the other sandwiches or desserts 😊
