Today I'm writing this review super excited because I found a genuinely legendary chicken place in my neighborhood. The moment I took my first bite I thought, "Wow, I want to come back again tomorrow!" My whole family cleaned every plate in no time — it was a real must-visit chicken spot. This is 'Fix Chicken Dongtan Central Park Branch,' so let's get right into the delicious review!

What's the vibe like? A spacious hall with a large screen

Even though we visited quite early on a weekend evening, Fix Chicken Dongtan Central Park Branch was already packed with customers. The store is really spacious, so it seems like a great spot for club or group gatherings too! With a large screen, it also looks perfect for watching a big game. That day there were plenty of family groups like us as well.

Complimentary macaroni and tteokbokki, plus self-bar cabbage salad

They give you macaroni and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) as a complimentary side. The tteokbokki has a bit of a tteokkochi (grilled rice cake skewer) feel — the rice cakes are really chewy and the sauce is sweet and spicy, so it was delicious.

It was really nice that we could grab as much cabbage salad as we wanted from the self bar.

How was the signature new menu, ganpung chicken?

This is 'Fix Chicken's' signature new menu, ganpung chicken. It's crispy fried chicken tossed well in a slightly spicy ganpung sauce that blends tomato and chili flavors, and the taste is honestly incredible! It's the number one ganpung chicken of my life! 🎉

The crispy batter soaking up the sauce is bursting with savory flavor, and the seasoning is so well absorbed that your hand just keeps reaching for more without ever getting tired of it.

If it gets a bit spicy, you can just eat some pickled radish or fried rice cake to cool down. The subtle tomato and chili aroma was really delicious! The combination is amazing.

The drumsticks were also meaty, and above all the frying was absolutely perfect — full of juice while the meat stayed tender, which I really loved.

Oven chicken: for those who love plain oven-roasted chicken

A lot of you dieting out there usually like plain oven-roasted chicken like Goobne Chicken, right? I can say with confidence that 'Fix Chicken' is way, waaay tastier than Goobne.

I took a bite of the freshly roasted chicken and the meat was so, so soft, with juices bursting gently in my mouth. The chicken itself was seasoned so perfectly that I didn't even think about needing a separate sauce or pickled radish — it was flawless.

The moment I took a bite of the piping hot, freshly made oven chicken, I genuinely felt an endorphin rush of happiness. Even right now I just want to tear into a wing again... All four of us in the family ate it in complete amazement!! 🌟🌟 Please, please try it 🌟🌟

The rice cake served with the chicken tastes great dipped in the sauce, giving off nostalgic tteokkochi vibes. The sweet sauce paired really well with the rice cake.

The combination of the oven chicken — so solidly good it needs no sauce or pickled radish — and the addictively savory ganpung chicken was really delicious!
