How to get more out of a pot of loose-leaf tea at Dobana

When I ordered a hot leaf tea, the staff briefly explained how to drink it. Once you finish your tea, there's hot water at the self-service bar so you can refill and have more.

There were a lot of people inside so I couldn't get photos of the interior, but it has a warm wood-tone feel, and the tables and chairs are comfortable.

The plating is neat and all the staff are kind, so it's always a pleasant place to be.

For hot leaf tea, once the hourglass runs out, you strain the tea through the tea strainer. The teapot, strainer, and glass hourglass all have a minimal, clean feel that's stylish. The tea accessories are so aesthetic, right?!

Autumn Forest herbal tea and iced grapefruit omija at Dobana

I chose Autumn Forest tea, which suits the cool autumn breeze. It's an herbal tea blend of rooibos, peppermint, and lemongrass.

It's not bitter or astringent, but slightly sweet and nutty — a flavor most people would like without much disagreement.

I usually find teas that are too sour or too strongly scented a bit much, but Autumn Forest was delicious. With leaf tea, they also give you a thin plastic tea name tag, which is so pretty that I brought it home to use as a bookmark, haha.

Grapefruit omija tea, made with grapefruit marmalade and omija (schisandra berry) tea, is a caffeine-free drink, so it's good for kids or adults sensitive to caffeine. It's cool and sweet, so if you want a tasty drink besides coffee, try the iced grapefruit omija tea.
