Figure museum in Andeok, Jeju with kids: Frozen Disney Zone

Since it was close to our accommodation, I debated whether to go — I thought, did I just not read the blogs well? There doesn't seem like much to see. But wow, there was actually so much to see that the kids had a blast! So I'm going to write this mostly with photos.

Where is Figure Museum Jeju and what should you know before going?

Figure Museum Jeju is located at 243 Hanchang-ro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do, and is open daily from 9:30 to 18:00, with last admission at 17:30. The parking lot is large, so no need to worry about that.

As we passed by, the kids spotted it and wanted to go — especially because of the Star Wars figures visible outside, haha. My son recognized them and got excited. There was also something that looked like Iron Man outside, and my second kid, who knows Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Superman from watching over her brother's shoulder, got super excited too, shouting 'Some-man! Some-man!' So we went the very next day, haha.

How much is admission to Figure Museum Jeju?

Right when you walk in, there's the ticket booth. Admission is ₩14,000 for adults, ₩12,000 for middle-high schoolers, and ₩10,000 for ages 24 months to elementary school. There's also a ₩5,000 coupon if you sign up for Naver notifications, and a 1+1 character mask coupon, so keep that in mind.

At the time, they said they'd give out masks if you wrote an SNS review. The masks the kids got, so cute haha. When I said I didn't need to take one, the staff insisted I take one as a keepsake — we ended up with four total. All the staff were really kind.

Inside Figure Museum Jeju, in photos

Right past the entrance of Figure Museum Jeju, there's a space packed full of figures. There was Gollum, Avatar, and I think Lord of the Rings too. I usually only know Marvel, and even that I've barely kept up with since having kids, so I probably can't explain the characters well. Anyway, all the famous characters are there — movie fans, especially boys, would love it.

Marvel Zone: the payoff for a kid who watched every film

Then the Marvel figures started appearing. My first kid randomly got obsessed with Marvel one day and watched the entire movie series from start to finish — good thing he did, because he was amazed and thrilled here. My second kid knows Spider-Man really well too, so she screamed whenever she spotted him, haha.

Doctor Strange? and that annoying Thanos, haha. But seeing them in person, they're genuinely impressive. I kept wondering how much these must cost.

I really loved this part. When I was younger I was a huge Iron Man fan — I used to save photos of Robert Downey Jr. Ah... those were the days, ㅠㅠㅠ. Anyway, looking at this made me think it was so cool. It felt like stepping into a scene from an Iron Man movie I loved. Glad we didn't miss this.

Hero props kids can pick up and try on

In one corner of Figure Museum Jeju, there are props set up for visitors to try on. Haha, chaos ensued here too.

Haha, my second kid found Spider-Man and immediately put it on, so happy. My first kid tried literally everything, put on everything — it's really fun here. If you have kids who love movies, you have to come.

It'd probably be nicer to come when it's less crowded, since there's so much to do and see.

Star Wars Zone at Figure Museum Jeju

Past the Marvel Zone comes what I think is the Star Wars Zone? I've never watched Star Wars so I don't know much, only that white mask. But my first kid still knew the characters, so he had fun looking around and trying things on again. I kept marveling at how the owner must have collected all this — are they rich or what? Haha.

There was this too — is this Star Wars as well? Not sure, but my first kid touches and tries everything, so he enjoyed this too. Seeing this, it really feels worth the money, haha. Definitely add this to your list of places to visit with kids in Jeju.

Disney Zone: Frozen's Elsa and Anna and the princess figures

This is the Disney Zone — my second kid recently got into Elsa and Anna from Frozen, and she loved this. In one corner there were also tons of small Disney princess figures on display; before our Jeju trip, my first kid happened to read through a whole series of Disney classics with princess stories at home. So my second kid, who has full-on princess fever these days, was overjoyed seeing all the princesses, haha.

And of course, the gift shop — my first kid picked an Iron Man figure, my second kid picked a doll, haha. Thanks for choosing the cheaper options, kids.

What's in the annex? Sailor Moon and animation figures

After finishing the main building of Figure Museum Jeju, there's also an annex across the way. By the way, there was a strong wind advisory that day and the wind was intense, but the weather itself was really nice.

This section mainly has animation figures. They're small so there isn't much to see in a big way, but there was Sailor Moon too, haha — got to enjoy a bit of nostalgic Sailor Moon before heading out.

Is Figure Museum Jeju worth it with two kids?

I really came here with zero expectations, but both my kids loved it so much that it turned out to be nothing short of great. If you're traveling Jeju with kids, this is definitely a tourist spot worth stopping by. It's close to Jungmun and near other attractions too, so it fits nicely into an itinerary. Highly recommend — both my kids were satisfied, so I was too. Would love to come back again sometime.
