Andeok figure museum with a Ghibli annex: Figure Museum Jeju

In short

Figure Museum Jeju is an indoor attraction on Hanchang-ro in Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, on Jeju Island. On the last day of a Jeju trip, a mother and daughter dropped in on short notice and worked through the Bruce Lee and Lord of the Rings figures on floor 1, the hero zone, Star Wars and animation zone on floor 2, and the Ghibli exhibit in the annex, trying on Darth Vader and Stitch masks along the way. Figure Museum Jeju is the kind of place where a movie-loving adult ends up having more fun than the child.

If you're looking for an indoor attraction on Jeju Island, come here, no question.

Why we chose Figure Museum Jeju on our last day in Jeju

On the last day of our Jeju trip, I was trying to figure out where to take my daughter for one last memory, and I landed on Figure Museum Jeju, which has a great location. I'd always driven past it whenever I came to Jeju but never actually gone in. It turned out to be way better than I expected — honestly surprised me haha.

Being an indoor Jeju attraction, the parking lot is spacious and huge. Jeju trips sometimes hit rainy or rough weather, and this seems like a great place to bring kids on those days. Personally, if you love movies it's even better, and I think parents would enjoy it too — a solid place to check out in Jeju.

Figures greet you right as you walk in haha. Iron Man really does seem to be everywhere no matter where you go. They also run various events through Naver reviews, so it's worth joining in.

There's genuinely so much to see you don't know where to start, and since they're all characters everyone loves, you're busy taking photos the whole time haha. It seems to have something for everyone, from kids to adults.

Floor 1 of Figure Museum Jeju: Bruce Lee to Gollum of Lord of the Rings

Among the figures on floor 1 of Figure Museum Jeju, there are idol figures, and then things that are more of an adults-only nostalgia trip — Bruce Lee, and Gollum from Lord of the Rings, who's basically the main character himself haha. Total blast from the past lol.

I genuinely loved Predator 2, and I was so happy to see that figure here haha. It felt like the exhibits get updated from old classics to the latest releases, so everything's well maintained and fun to look through lol.

Floor 2 hero zone: the Batmobile and Iron Man

Go up to floor 2 and you're surrounded by American superheroes — right as you climb the stairs, Batman greets you... ah, I love it so much. Christian Bale, I was obsessed with him after that movie;; and honestly the car is built so solid — I normally have zero interest in display cars, but that one I actually wanted to drive lol.

This would definitely make boys freak out lol — it's so cool that even as an adult, I wanted to climb up there and become Iron Man myself.

Star Wars zone costume play: my daughter as Darth Vader

Past the superheroes, we moved on to the Star Wars series haha. Darth Vader greeted us lol.

There's a lot you can do here, like dressing up as actual movie characters, so my daughter put on the Darth Vader costume — she had absolutely no clue which figure it even was lolllllll.

The animation zone and the Stitch mask

Past Star Wars and past Game of Thrones, you move into the animation series section lol, which genuinely had a huge variety and plenty to see.

My daughter is a huge Stitch fan, so of course she couldn't resist and threw on the Stitch mask haha. She said, 'Since we're here, let's try everything we can,' and got fully into character; seriously, where does she even learn to talk like that lol.

The Ghibli exhibit in the annex, and why you shouldn't skip it

Once you step out of the main building, there's an annex just across the outdoor area. Don't just walk past this one either — you really should stop by haha.

The annex has the Ghibli series haha. My Neighbor Totoro was so cute I took several shots. It's the kind of space that makes you realize, wow, I really have watched a lot of movies in my life lol.

The Matrix figures: red pill or blue pill?

Back in high school, my Korean literature teacher must have fallen for The Matrix, because he'd bring it up every single class — and to this day, that class remains one of the best classes I've ever had. Ever since then I've rewatched The Matrix over and over and kept up with every sequel, and seeing the Matrix figure here at Figure Museum Jeju made me want to watch it all over again haha.

I wanted to tell him, 'When it's time to choose the red pill... just take the easy way out and pick the blue pill' — but if I'd paid closer attention back then and really understood what he was getting at, would I have chosen the red pill? lol. Feels like right now I'm living a bit of a blue-pill kind of life lolllll.

We dropped in on Figure Museum Jeju on a whim and ended up having a great time with family, reminiscing and fully enjoying our Jeju trip. It's nice how someone else's creation can make you this happy. It also seems like a great spot to visit solo, to make memories and just take it all in.
