Now that the weather is gradually getting cooler, café-hopping every weekend has become one of my little joys, and I visited Vibe Log Coffee Naju Dongshin University Branch in Daeho-dong, Naju.

Visitor information for Vibe Log Coffee Naju Dongshin University Branch

A café near Dongshin University and Naju Gomtang Street

It is near Dongshin University and Naju Gomtang Street, so it is in just the right spot for heading over for dessert after a bowl of gomtang (beef soup).

Exterior and entrance of a café in Daeho-dong, Naju

It is across from Daebang Nobland Phase 1 Apartments, and there is a separate parking area behind the café, which made visiting by car easy too. I loved being able to head in comfortably without worrying about parking! *_*

There were croffle and drink menus lined up by the entrance, so it was fun to browse what to order before going in.

As soon as I opened the door, the ivory interior with navy accents really caught my eye.

Seating for solo work or groups

Yellow and orange wooden chairs were dotted around the terrazzo-tiled floor, while low sofa-style seating ran along the wall, so there were lots of different seating options.

There were seats that looked great for working on a laptop alone, as well as round tables that groups could gather around, so it felt like you could choose according to the size of your party :)

The lighting was mostly soft indirect lighting, which made the overall atmosphere comfortable and calm. Little hand-drawn pictures and flower-shaped decorations were attached to the walls too, making it nice for taking a few photos 😊

Decaf Dutch coffee for the evening

Since it was evening, I ordered decaf Dutch coffee.

The decaf Dutch coffee still had a rich coffee aroma, but I could drink it without the caffeine worry, which was nice. With plenty of ice, it was so refreshing that the heat seemed to melt away, and it was satisfyingly full-bodied rather than watery.

The crisp texture of the vanilla maple croffle

Their signature croffles came in such a wide range of flavors, and I chose the vanilla maple one. It arrived with plenty of vanilla ice cream and almonds on top of the crisp croffle, finished with maple syrup, and I loved the look of it from the start.

After one bite, I loved the contrast between the crisp outside and fluffy inside, and having it with the ice cream doubled the sweetness. I heard it does not get soggy even for takeaway, but eating it right there made the crunch feel even more obvious 😋

A wide range of drinks and brunch options

Looking at the menu, there were so many coffees, from Americanos to hazelnut, vanilla, café mocha, and Saigon condensed milk lattes, plus more than 60 drinks including yogurt drinks, ades, and fresh fruit juice. Next time, I really want to try a yogurt smoothie or an ade too.

They also had a brunch item called Bato Bato Brunch, and the tomatoes, basil, and cream cheese on top made it look filling at a glance. It seems like it would be nice to come next time for a proper brunch meal. Basque cheesecake is also available by reservation order, so it would be perfect as a celebration cake.

Prices were easy on the wallet too, with Americanos starting in the ₩2,000 range, while the croffles and brunch items were reasonably priced as well. Great value 👍

The seating was plentiful and fairly quiet, so it looked like a good place to study or work too.

I would recommend Vibe Log Coffee Naju Dongshin University Branch to anyone looking for great croffles in Daeho-dong, Naju, or a café near Dongshin University where they can spend some quiet time. If I am in Naju Gomtang Street again, I will definitely return and try the brunch this time :)
