Shopping at Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet with My Daughter and the Nirvana Pop-up

It had been a while, so I went on a little date with my daughter at Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet, shopping and eating tasty things together. As we wandered around looking at this and that, time really flew by.

While shopping, we had fun browsing the September Nirvana pop-up, which was packed with cute Buddhist goods.

I do not usually go out of my way to seek out this kind of merchandise, but once I saw it, there were so many cuter and more interesting things than I expected. From adorable novice-monk figures to Buddhist prayer-bead bracelets, there was such a variety of small items and eye-catching pieces that it was really fun to look around.

And we also received a cute doll that was offered for posting about the Songdo Hyundai Outlet Nirvana September pop-up on Instagram.

We even bought a turtle good symbolizing longevity and wealth, plus a crane good symbolizing achievement and good fortune. They are small things, but buying a little souvenir like that when we were not even traveling somehow made it feel as if we were on a trip, haha.

A Café We Found on B1 While Shopping

After taking in the pop-up and walking around Songdo Hyundai Outlet, we were starting to get thirsty and our legs were getting tired. Then, at just the right moment, this place caught my eye—Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch.

Even though it was a weekday, there were lots of people, so I noticed it thinking, “What is going on here?”

It is tucked inside Food Square on B1 of Songdo Hyundai Outlet, so it is easy to come across naturally while shopping.

Vanilla Latte and Tangerine-Grapefruit Ade Instead of Wundergato

Those who know, know! Wunder Coffee Bar at Songdo Hyundai Outlet is famous for its Wundergato, an ice-cream coffee and the signature menu here. We originally came in thinking, “Shall we try the famous Wundergato?” but...

But... I do not know why, after looking at the menu, my daughter suddenly fixated on the tangerine-grapefruit ade and I fixated on the vanilla latte. In the end, we saved the famous menu for next time and each ordered what we wanted.

Still... while we waited for our drinks, we watched the orders being picked up in front of us, and honestly, why did everything look so delicious? Haha. Especially when I saw the coffee topped with ice cream, I suddenly had a tiny moment of regret about what we had ordered. ㅠㅠ Next time, I am definitely ordering the signature Wundergato with Wunder Coffee. Why? You have to try it to find out why it is famous, right?

Then our drinks came out while we were feeling that little bit of regret! But after one sip, where did that feeling of regret go? Haha.

Oh? This is delicious too!

The vanilla latte I ordered had smooth milk and a sweet vanilla aroma, and I liked that it was not overwhelmingly sweet.

And the tangerine-grapefruit ade that my daughter had wanted so badly combined bright tangerine and grapefruit flavors—it felt like the whole mouth was suddenly refreshed! It was nicely rich and delicious.

The vanilla latte and tangerine-grapefruit ade we had at this Songdo Hyundai Outlet café gave us sweet, tangy, smooth flavors just when we were tired from shopping. Since this place is known for ice-cream coffee, I honestly assumed only the ice-cream drinks would be good, but after trying the vanilla latte, I thought, “Oh, the coffee here is quite good too.” That made me understand a little why it is such a popular Songdo Hyundai Outlet café, haha.

One Thing to Know: No Seating in the Café

One small downside is that Wunder Coffee Bar itself has no space to sit and drink, so you need to use it as a takeaway café. But it was not a major inconvenience, since there are places to sit and rest throughout B1 of Songdo Hyundai Outlet. On pleasant days like these, it would be nice to take your drink up to the first floor too. We enjoyed shopping and then rounded out the day with this Songdo Hyundai Outlet café stop, which cooled us down and chased away our tiredness. It was an even happier day because I got to spend it with my daughter after so long~^^
