Yeosu ocean-view restaurant with parking: Ravenna's 4-person pasta

While traveling around Yeosu, I was looking for a place where I could enjoy delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere at the same time, and that's how I found Ravenna, a Yeosu restaurant. Yeosu has so many great restaurants, but since I love Italian food, I was searching for a good pasta place in Yeosu where I could also enjoy risotto and pizza. Above all, Ravenna is a restaurant with a gorgeous ocean view, so I figured I could enjoy both a great meal and a great atmosphere—so I went to check it out.

Why parking is so easy at this Yeosu ocean-view restaurant

Most good restaurants in Yeosu are around Yi Sun-sin Square, where finding parking is such a hassle—but Ravenna has parking right on the 1st floor of its own building, which made things so much easier.

We parked on the 1st floor, with the restaurant itself on the 2nd floor. Ravenna promises freshly cooked food each day and uses up that day's ingredients daily, so it always serves fresh ingredients! Even the sign at the entrance made me trust the place right away.

Restaurant atmosphere and the window-side ocean view

As soon as you walk in, there's a spacious waiting area, fitting for a well-known Yeosu restaurant. The interior is mostly black-toned, giving it a clean but slightly moody feel!

The first thing that caught my eye when I walked in was the ocean spreading out beyond the huge window 👀🌊 The window-side tables especially had a full view of the Yeosu sea, perfect for a leisurely meal. When traveling around Yeosu, the taste of the food matters, but finding a restaurant with a view this good really makes it feel like a proper trip.

Since we'd reserved through Naver, our table was already set up when we arrived :)

Four of us, one dish each — here's what we ordered

There were several of us that day, so we decided each person would pick their own dish.

• Miso bulgogi pasta
• Chicken cream risotto
• Gorgonzola pizza (added extra to share)

We started with the two best sellers—hot seafood hot-pot pasta and gat kimchi (mustard leaf kimchi) pilaf—as a given, then each of the four of us ordered one dish each, plus a gorgonzola pizza to share on top 🍕

Sticking to just one dish felt like a waste, so we ordered a wide variety—and it turned out each dish had such a different taste and style that if you're visiting with a group, ordering a variety to share like we did is a great idea!

First, bread and salad came out before the meal.

Hot seafood hot-pot pasta

The first dish I want to introduce is the hot seafood hot-pot pasta! This is Ravenna's best-seller, one of Yeosu's go-to pasta restaurants, and a must-order if you visit. It comes in a hot-pot bowl piled high with pasta in a tomato-based sauce loaded with seafood—the visual alone made it look so appetizing 😋

It's generously packed with shrimp and mussels, and the sauce soaked so well into the noodles that I ate it all up happily.

True to its name, there's a spicy kick that keeps it from feeling greasy, so I kept going back for more! If you're looking for a slightly special pasta at a Yeosu pasta restaurant, I recommend trying the hot seafood hot-pot pasta, haha.

Gat kimchi pilaf

And another best seller—the gat kimchi pilaf! You can't talk about Yeosu without mentioning gat kimchi, and putting it into a pilaf gave it a familiar yet novel flavor.

The rice was fried light and fluffy like fried rice, with the umami of the gat kimchi added in—personally, this was the dish I kept reaching for the most that day!^^ If you want to try a dish that uses gat kimchi in Yeosu, definitely order the gat kimchi pilaf at Ravenna!

Miso bulgogi pasta

The miso bulgogi pasta had a generous heap of meat toppings on top of the pasta, making it look appetizing right away.

The bulgogi was very tender, and the smooth, moist cream sauce blended nicely with the noodles—eating bulgogi and pasta together felt familiar yet like a novel combination. One of my meat-loving friends who came along only ordered this one 👍 Turns out ordering a variety based on everyone's taste was the right call.

Chicken cream risotto

Risotto has a different vibe than pilaf, right? Sometimes you crave something soft, so we ordered the chicken cream risotto too—it was thick, savory, cream-sauced, with chicken mixed in, making it a hearty and satisfying dish.

It was also loaded with vegetables like onions and bell peppers inside, which cut through the richness nicely—I ate it happily ^^

Gorgonzola pizza

And of course, the gorgonzola pizza! Adding pizza to the table on top of pasta and risotto made it feel really abundant. That distinctive gorgonzola cheese flavor, dipped in sweet honey—that's the taste everyone already knows!! And that familiar taste is truly dangerous, hahaha.

If you visit Ravenna in Yeosu with a group, definitely add a pizza and share it!!

Gat kimchi and baby chairs at the self-serve bar

There's a self-serve bar where you can easily grab cutlery or pickles as needed. And oddly enough, maybe because it's Yeosu, they even had gat kimchi at the self-serve bar haha (gat kimchi cuts through the richness perfectly! haha). There were also plenty of baby chairs, so it's fine as a family dining spot too.

More than the food itself, I think being able to eat while looking out at the sea is Ravenna's biggest charm. Thanks to the ocean view through the picture window, I felt like I was really on a trip the whole time I was eating, and I think it would be a great spot for a date or family meal in Yeosu.

With delicious food plus a beautiful ocean view, mealtime at Ravenna felt extra special. If you're looking for a good restaurant in Yeosu, especially one where you can eat with a view of the sea and a nice atmosphere, Ravenna, a Yeosu pasta restaurant, is worth a visit. It was a great place to go when you're tired of seafood or Korean food during your Yeosu trip and craving Italian food like pasta or pizza instead!
