For food around Yeosu's Yi Sun-sin Square, you can find crisp baguette burgers generously filled with meat and vegetables, chewy fat macarons with loads of filling, and soft-serve ice cream with a delicate mugwort aroma. You can eat in, but pets are not allowed.

You can park at Jinnam Shopping District Public Parking Lot! Parking in front of the shop isn't allowed, and they say it is enforced.

They're open daily from 09:30 to 20:00, though they close early if they sell out of ingredients.
Pets are not allowed

Jwasuyeong Baguette Burger doesn't allow pets. So our dog waited in the shade with my mom like this. Poor hot pup, pant pant...
Can you both dine in and get takeaway?

Jwasuyeong Baguette Burger has a spacious dining area, so you can eat in too! On hot days like these, I think a baguette burger would be extra tasty with the cool air-conditioning.

The new Jwasuyeong fat macarons
These fat macarons are a newly introduced menu item!! They aren't made in-store; they're a collaboration with Myeongpum Dessert, a dessert specialist company with an HACCP-certified facility.

How to store baguette burgers and fat macarons
- Keep the baguette burger refrigerated or somewhere cool.
- Air-fry at 180°C for 3–4 minutes, or toast until golden in a dry frying pan over low heat!
- Microwaving isn't recommended because it makes it soggy.
- Freeze the fat macarons, then leave them at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
- They recommend eating them within 3 days when refrigerated or within 1 month when frozen.
They also have a receipt-review event going on.

The set is a little cheaper, so keep that in mind.

When you buy the fat macarons, they give you an insulated bag for free!!! They even put an ice pack in the sturdy bag. No worries about the macarons melting... And you have no idea how usefully I've used this insulated bag ㅠ.ㅠ I put gimbap (seaweed rice rolls) in it, and whipped-cream bread too. What would I have done without it!!

Geomundo sea-breeze mugwort ice cream taste
This is mugwort ice cream made with Geomundo sea-breeze mugwort, a Yeosu specialty I was sooo excited for!! And, true to a baguette-burger shop, it comes with a little piece of baguette tucked in!
I'd actually had mugwort ice cream elsewhere before, but the mugwort scent was too strong, it tasted bitter, and it had this... sauna smell, so I wasn't into it. Jwasuyeong Baguette Burger's mugwort ice cream tastes like chal-tteok ice cream. It's just sweet enough, with a gentle mugwort fragrance spreading pleasantly through your mouth~

Chewy and soft mugwort ice cream! It melted quickly because the day was so hot, but it was perfect for quenching my thirst.
Trying the baguette burger at our accommodation

Okay~ back at our accommodation, it was time to try the macarons and baguette burger.

First, we decided to taste the baguette burger. Inside the cute yellow wrapper was a big half of a baguette.

The baguette was much bigger than I expected, so I cut it in half to see the cross-section! Oh my... can you see how completely packed it is with cabbage and meat?!

It also has Cheongyang chili peppers, so it wasn't greasy at all, and the slight heat perked up my appetite. I cut it into a smaller piece, piled on lots of meat and cabbage, and took a bite... As befits a baguette burger, it had the flavor of a handmade burger sold from a truck, with harmonious ingredients and a seriously delicious sauce.
It's stuffed absolutely full, so I think it would be great as a meal replacement too. This huge, generous thing... for only ₩6,000.
Strawberry-milk fat macaron for dessert
Macarons for dessert...♥

Jwasuyeong fat macarons come in five flavors! Strawberry milk, real sea-breeze mugwort, sea-breeze mugwort latte, sea-breeze mugwort chocolate chip, and cookies and cream. Thoughtfully, the flavor is written on the side of each product.

These fat macarons are precious, so I'm going to have only one a day. First up was the strawberry-milk flavor sitting right at the front!!

Since Jwasuyeong Baguette Burger isn't a macaron specialist, I wasn't expecting much, but what?! The shells were much higher quality than I expected. They weren't hollow macarons with shells that hadn't properly filled out either!! The shells were chewy and crisp. They were generously filled with smooth strawberry-milk buttercream, which went so well with the shells. The taste held up well even compared with a specialist macaron shop.
Jwasuyeong Baguette Burger is a perfect dessert spot where nothing misses, from its burgers to fat macarons and ice cream! A baguette burger with a generous meat filling inside crisp bread, fat macarons pairing chewy shells with soft filling, and mugwort ice cream whose gentle fragrance makes you want to keep eating! If you're visiting Yeosu's Yi Sun-sin Square, I recommend trying it at least once... you won't regret it!
