Dogs are allowed in the café too, so it was perfect for cooling down with your pup on a hot day. As you would expect from an avocado specialist, the whole place was cutely decorated with avocados.

Avocado menu and review event

True to its avocado-specialist status, there are avocado dishes as well as coffee on the menu. They even have a Vietnamese-style condensed milk latte (Bakssiyu). It was something I had wanted to try at least once, but sadly there was no decaf option, so I could not have it... Avocado Yeosu, the dog-friendly café by Yi Sun-sin Square, was also running a Naver receipt-review event! You can participate per person, not per order. They give you a cute keyring for writing a review ><

Free black-and-white photo booth

Avocado Yeosu, the dog-friendly café by Yi Sun-sin Square, also has a black-and-white photo booth. It is free to use, so snap a quick photo~~ It came out much better than I expected and printed so quickly. It really looked like a receipt.

Vietnamese banh mi and fresh avocado smoothie order

Ordering a fresh avocado smoothie and banh mi

I ordered the avocado smoothie and banh mi (a Vietnamese baguette sandwich)! The takeaway packaging was so neat too.

My first taste of avocado smoothie

Since Avocado Yeosu, a café popular in Jungang-dong, is an avocado specialist, I ordered the avocado smoothie! It was my first time trying one. And it was made with fresh, not frozen, avocado..! I took a sip with a fluttery, excited heart, and it had such a deeply rich avocado flavor with an incredibly smooth texture. It was so filling that I thought it would make a great meal replacement too. My mom said it suited her taste so well that she wanted another cup.. ><

Vietnamese banh mi with avocado

Next up was the Vietnamese banh mi! Look at the enormous size of it. Avocado Yeosu was my first-ever banh mi,,, and now I do not think I will be able to eat banh mi from anywhere else.

Large Vietnamese banh mi

Just look at that big, generously stuffed banh mi~.. I thought the bread would be a little crisp like a baguette, but it was incredibly fluffy and soft! How lovely is that?

Vietnamese banh mi with avocado

Avocado Yeosu’s banh mi reflects the café’s avocado-specialist character by including avocado in the sandwich too. It was generously filled with beef bulgogi, a house sauce, lettuce, pickled vegetables, and avocado. Cilantro is optional. I do not like cilantro, so I left it out ><

Beef bulgogi and avocado banh mi fillings

A mouthful of soft bread and generous fillings brought beef bulgogi flavor, creamy avocado flavor, and tangy pickled vegetables all together!! The harmony was so good. Avocado Yeosu is an avocado specialist by Yi Sun-sin Square! Dogs can come indoors, which was so nice because we could wait for our takeaway inside in the cool with our pup. The Vietnamese banh mi and fresh avocado smoothie were such a great combination too. Those two alone filled us up and gave us energy to travel around all day.. Especially because they use fresh fruit rather than frozen fruit, the food quality is excellent. If you love Vietnamese banh mi or avocado, I definitely recommend stopping by when you come to Yeosu..♥
