Since I hadn't gotten a lash lift in a while, my lashes kept poking my eyes, so I finally went to get it done! This is 'Bitnaneun Lash' on the 4th floor of Cheonggyeong Building, across from Art Mall-ling in Hadan-dong, Busan.

Lash lift consultation: why U-curl and L-curl instead of C-curl

First off, I made sure to come with a completely bare face, no makeup, before the treatment. I had a 1:1 pre-treatment consultation with manager Yujeong, who was in charge of my lash lift today.

I always thought J-curl or C-curl were automatically the prettiest options, but she considered all sorts of things — my eye shape, eyelid size, lash density and length — to recommend a curl customized to me. She said that going with just C-curl could bend the lash hairs the wrong way, so we decided to do a natural, pretty-lifting mix of U-curl and L-curl instead~!

How the lash lift is done, step by step

The treatment took about an hour. Since the rooms are separated individually, it was so quiet and comfortable that I basically dozed off, and before I knew it, it was done, haha. There's usually some stinging or a foreign-object sensation, but I didn't feel any stinging or discomfort at all — genuinely surprising.

After: a natural curl about an hour later

It wasn't just lifted straight up — it curved naturally and round to match my eye shape, and I loved it 🧡 Every single lash, from the inner to the outer corner, was lifted carefully hair by hair, and my eyes look so much more defined than before the treatment.
