What was the weekday lunch wait like?

After finishing the first semester of my master's program, I went to Sunhui Dining (순희다이닝) near Ewha Womans University with my classmates. At lunchtime, the queue stretched down the stairs, but it moved relatively quickly and the food came out fast too.

What can you get at the self bar?

Vegetables and soup were available to pick up from the self bar.

What did the extra-meat spicy butadon taste like?

I ordered two spicy butadon (pork rice bowls) and one soboro gobong galbibap (heaped rice with crumbled beef short rib), adding meat to each one. The spicy butadon had peppers that felt like dried chilies, but it was not very spicy for me.

I mixed the rice with the egg yolk, onion, and peppers, and the added meat made the portion feel generous. The meat tasted light and savory, as if it had been grilled over charcoal, and it was clean without any gamey smell.

Was it good for a meal with classmates?

A classmate who cannot handle spicy food chose the soboro gobong galbibap. The side dishes, bowls, and atmosphere all felt clean, and it was a great place for a filling meal with classmates to wrap up the semester.
