Today I was looking for a place in Nampo-dong, Busan to have a light drink with delicious snacks, and I ended up at Budan Nampo Branch near Bupyeong Jokbal Alley!

Budan is located near Bupyeong Jokbal Alley, so it's a solid pick if you're looking for a bar in Nampo-dong.
Inside Budan Nampo Branch: window seats and the room's mood
Once inside, there were seats by the window, and since the front was open, it felt less stuffy — I liked that.
Beyond the window seats, there were several different seat types, so it felt like a comfortable place to sit no matter how many people you had!

The menu could be checked on the ordering tablet at the table, and it had quite a variety — mains, sides, extra noodles, liquor, highballs, and drinks ✨
That day we ordered omokjomok, Chapagetti with green onion kimchi, and a cherry coke.
The free starter: whipped cream with white bread
While waiting for our food, the basic side dish came out — whipped cream served together with toast.
It was a simple basic side dish, but somehow I kept reaching for the toast to dip in the whipped cream haha. Things like this seem like nothing, but they're perfect for picking at before the main food arrives!
Cherry coke, the non-alcoholic drink for non-drinkers
The cherry coke 🍒 was so cute. It has no alcohol in it, so it's worth noting for anyone who can't drink. And the straw was heart-shaped, which was just too cute haha. Budan Nampo Branch also has a wide variety of highballs, so it seemed like a good place to pick your drink to match the food!
I took a sip and the cherry flavor really came through — it was tastier than I expected 🤩. The sweet cherry flavor was strong, so it was great to sip on between bites of food. And then the Chapagetti and green onion kimchi arrived!
Chapagetti with green onion kimchi: far too much for two
Wait, is the portion of Chapagetti real,,? It was seriously so much that even eating it between the two of us, I thought — this could feed four people, couldn't it? haha
Chapagetti alone is already good, but paired with crunchy green onion kimchi, it's a combination you just can't ignore.
Especially with melted cheese on top of the Chapagetti and the green onion kimchi alongside it — the salty Chapagetti got that nutty cheese richness, and the crunch of the kimchi cut through in between. The combination was a perfect match.
It seemed like a simple dish, but the portion was so generous it was great as a drinking snack, and I really loved the Chapagetti and green onion kimchi combo 🥰
Omokjomok: duck and chicken neck meat on one plate
Next up was omokjomok! It's a dish that comes with both duck meat and chicken neck meat.
I liked being able to try duck and chicken neck meat together instead of just one kind, and it had sauce drizzled on top, which added a savory depth when eaten together.
The meat came in a pretty generous portion, so as a snack for two, it was plenty, and the taste was good too, so it paired well as a drinking snack.

Above all, the portions of the dishes I tried that day were more generous than I expected, which was satisfying. Even after ordering several dishes for two people, I never felt like the amount was lacking, and I was able to eat well and leave full to the end 👍 They also have a wide variety of highballs, so it seems fun to pick your type of alcohol, and like me, ordering a cherry coke instead of alcohol was also a nice, light way to enjoy the place.
