Nampo-dong karaoke bar highball and weekend booking: Juju Norae Town

In short

Juju Norae Town is a karaoke room bar on the 4th floor of a building near the pig's-feet alley in Nampo-dong, Jung-gu, Busan. On a weekend night around 10pm, a phone call ahead cut the wait to 20 minutes, and the order of fruit punch and a highball came with a full spread of free snacks including ramyeon, a fried egg, fish-shaped bread and tteokbokki. Rooms at Juju Norae Town are wide and well soundproofed, so a group of 15 or more can settle in comfortably.

Where is Juju Norae Town and how do you get there?

Juju Norae Town, this Nampo-dong karaoke bar with great access, sits near the Nampo-dong pig's-feet alley! It's on the 4th floor of the building.

On weekdays they give you unlimited time plus a free bottle of soju, so the place is always packed whether it's a weekday or weekend! I visited around 10pm on a weekend~!

What the Juju Norae Town restroom stocks for guests

Before heading to the room, I stopped by the restroom, and in front of the women's restroom there were rubber bands, cotton swabs, floss, cotton pads and more all thoughtfully stocked? Fix your smudged eye makeup from the bar and head home like nothing happened, ssap-gaeun-eung (haha?)

Weekend wait time and what the rooms are like

Maybe because of how spacious and clean the facilities are, the wait time on the weekend I visited was over an hour..! I called ahead and reserved, so I only waited about 20 minutes before getting in haha. When I stepped into the room, I was so surprised at how clean the interior was! No trace of that stuffy karaoke-room smell — it was well maintained and spotless.

Free snacks at Juju Norae Town, plus fruit punch and a highball

The basic snacks provided to eat while singing: ramyeon (instant noodles), dried snacks, fried egg, popcorn chicken's 'pop' (?), bingsu (shaved ice), fish-shaped bread, and even tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes)! I thought we might not even need to order a main snack, but ordering one is required, so we got fruit punch and a highball~!

These weren't just there for show — the snacks were actually delicious. Makes me want to go back to Juju Norae Town in Nampo-dong just for the food (★‿★)

How good is the microphone sound?

The mic had really clean, good sound quality! I haven't been into singing and drinking for that long, so... my boyfriend, who came with me, said the mic was great haha. If a karaoke addict says it's good, it must be good (?)

Here's the fruit punch we ordered as a snack! Honestly, since a bar is usually the last stop of the night, isn't it hard to really eat a proper snack when you're already full??

Juju Norae Town was great for having a variety of light snacks ready, like fruit dishes and fruit punch. And the drink menu was so varied too! There are way too many options!

Room size and soundproofing: can a big group fit?

We sipped on the highball we ordered together and sang our hearts out! I went with my boyfriend so we behaved (?) and just sang, but if you come with friends, the space is big enough to dance around like maniacs (?) and have fun. One room fits 15 people as a baseline!! Plus the soundproofing is so good that the singing from other rooms doesn't bother you at all, so it was great for having fun just among ourselves.

Boiling spicy Yeolramyeon right in the room

Anyone who can't resist ramyeon at a bar? Me. Thanks to them properly providing spicy ramyeon and even an egg, whenever you get hungry mid-song you can just boil up some ramyeon. You all know the taste, right? >.< Spicy and amazing, we had a blast!

What to know before visiting Juju Norae Town

Juju Norae Town, this Nampo-dong karaoke bar, sits right by the pig's-feet alley so it's super accessible and a pleasant place to enjoy yourself! On weekends the wait can get long, so I recommend calling ahead to check before you go!

With a wide variety of drinks, tasty snacks, and above all such a satisfying room condition, Juju Norae Town in Nampo-dong really delivered! The rooms comfortably hold 15 people or more, so bring your family, friends, or significant other and have a great time haha.
