Euljiro burger diner: philly cheesesteak and two Stellas, Daily Fix
In short
Daily Fix Euljiro is a burger diner serving 100% Hanwoo beef, a 3-minute walk from Euljiro 1-ga Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. Over an evening beer run, the order was two Stella Artois drafts, a classic burger and a philly cheesesteak sandwich, and the food got more attention than the beer. The philly cheesesteak sandwich, packed with onions and melted cheese, was the best match for the beer.

I stopped by Daily Fix Euljiro after dinner in the area, wanting a light beer. Honestly, I wasn't there for a proper meal — I just wanted a cold beer — so I ordered the classic burger and the philly cheesesteak sandwich as bar snacks to go with it.
But once I started eating, I ended up reaching for the burger more than the beer haha (did we really just have dinner?🤣🤣🤥) It's about a 3-minute walk from Euljiro 1-ga Station, so it's worth keeping in mind not just when you're searching for Euljiro 1-ga restaurants but also for those looking up City Hall Station restaurants or Myeongdong restaurants.
What is Daily Fix Euljiro?
Daily Fix Euljiro is the brand's third location, opening after the Gangnam flagship and Seocho-Gyodae branches. Tucked into an Euljiro alley lined with old signboards, it had a pretty compelling atmosphere — like a New York-style handmade burger diner had been transplanted right in.
The vibe here is seriously on point.

And, well... how do I put it... I already love Euljiro, but coming here in the evening after a while cranked the vibe up even more.

Apparently the menu draws on know-how from chefs who worked at New York's three-Michelin-star Per Se and two-star Momofuku Ko. They make their patties fresh every morning from 100% Hanwoo beef, and prepare their own pastrami, bacon aged 100 hours, and a signature house sauce in-house — which really set it apart from a typical fast-food burger, more of a true handmade burger diner.

Evening atmosphere and tablet ordering at Daily Fix Euljiro
Inside, Daily Fix Euljiro blends a classic diner feel with a pub mood. The lighting is dim, and the mix of neon signs, metal fixtures, and wood tables made the evening atmosphere even more appealing than daytime, I imagine.
It's the kind of lighting that makes you look good even with your makeup half gone haha. Ordering was easy with the tablet right at the table, and among City Hall Station restaurants, this feels like a great spot for an after-work meal-slash-beer.
The order: two Stella Artois drafts, a burger and a sandwich
We ordered two Stella Artois drafts, a classic burger, and a philly cheesesteak sandwich.

First, the beer — the actual reason I came. Taking a sip of the ice-cold Stella Artois, I thought, yep, this is exactly the flavor for evenings. Since both the burger and sandwich had meat and cheese, they paired great with the beer. Draft beer is just amazing, honestly.
Okay. Now for the main event. Time to see how different the burger tastes here.

How the 100% Hanwoo classic burger tastes
The classic burger comes with Daily Fix's signature sauce, vegetables, and a thick patty made entirely from Hanwoo beef, topped with cheese. As soon as it arrived, you could tell how thick the patty was, and eating it confirmed it — the beef presence was king. This isn't a thin-patty, sauce-forward burger; biting in, the Hanwoo patty's meaty aroma and texture came through strong.
With the cheese, vegetables, and signature sauce added, the overall balance was great, and I liked that the bun wasn't too thick, so it didn't overshadow the patty. If you're looking for a handmade burger among Euljiro 1-ga restaurants, this is worth a visit.

The beer was so good haha that I ordered another round.
Why the philly cheesesteak sandwich was the better beer pairing
Then there was the philly cheesesteak sandwich we ordered alongside — honestly, this was the one I was most curious about. It's a thick, authentic East Coast-style philly cheesesteak sandwich, packed between grilled bread with meat, sautéed onions, and plenty of cheese.

I peeled the bread open a bit and the filling inside was more packed than I expected, so it looked pretty substantial from the start. Generous fillings are exactly my thing.
The sweetly caramelized onions, meat, and softly melted cheese all hit at once, and the flavor was a bit richer than the classic burger — personally, I liked this one even better as a beer pairing.
Add the savory crunch of the toasted bread exterior, and it was the perfect one-bite-then-a-sip-of-beer combo. I really did go in that day just for a beer and ended up completely hooked on the philly cheesesteak sandwich haha.

Is Daily Fix Euljiro worth it for burgers and beer?
Daily Fix Euljiro is a diner where the handmade burgers are great, but the space itself is just as worth enjoying. Apparently the mood shifts a lot between the sunlit daytime atmosphere and the softly lit evening one, and on our evening visit, it was definitely the mood for a good beer.
I should go back in the daytime next time.
It's close to Euljiro 1-ga Station and easy to reach from Myeongdong or City Hall, so it's a solid choice when you're searching for Myeongdong restaurants or City Hall Station restaurants and want a handmade burger with beer. Next time, I want to try more of Daily Fix's signature menu items.
