It was raining, windy, and chilly out, so I wanted something hot and went to Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk.

How's the parking?

There's a parking lot right in front of the store with plenty of space. Between that and the basement lot in the building, I never had to worry about parking.

Easy for solo dining too

The interior is spacious, with lots of seating from solo seats to 4-6 person tables. It was clean and comfortable, and the tables were well spaced, so it felt easy to eat there whether alone or in a group. Food also came out fast after ordering, which is probably why it's popular with office workers at lunch. I actually visited during lunch hour myself, and my order came out quickly.

Even the utensils came individually wrapped, so hygiene was clearly well managed.

Menu and how to order

The menu had haejangguk (hangover soup), tripe soup, and dombe pork, with seasoned tripe and blood sausage soup as sides.

Ordering was easy through the tablet at the table. I liked that I could customize the order to my taste.

When writing a review, you could choose one of seasoned tripe, a drink, or blood sausage soup. Glancing at other tables, a lot of people were going for the seasoned tripe.

Side dishes and self-serve corner

The basic side dishes were diced radish kimchi, peppers, ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste), and minced garlic.

Extra side dishes are free to grab from the self-serve corner. They'd thought of everything—cutlery, a portable phone charger, even disposable aprons. There were even baby chairs and baby spoons and forks ready, so it seems like a good spot to bring little ones.

And rice refills were unlimited.

I'm pretty weak with spice, and I wanted a clean-tasting broth, so I asked them to leave out the chili flakes. True to a broth simmered for 24 hours from ox bones, it was cool and clean. Even without the chili flakes, it was still pretty spicy thanks to the pepper. It felt like I was getting over a hangover I never even had.

The tripe soup is loaded with beef tripe, blood sausage, bean sprouts, and plenty of dried radish greens from Haenam. The tripe and blood sausage were chewy with no off smell, which made them even tastier.
