Whenever I go to Jeju Island, I always stop by Eunhuine Haejangguk for a hangover cure — it's that famous a soup house. Turns out there's a Suwon Ingye branch too!! Writing this up as my Suwon City Hall Station recommendation for a soup restaurant in Ingye-dong!!

Location and hours of the Suwon Ingye branch
28 Hyowon-ro 265beon-gil, 1st floor #102, Paldal-gu, Suwon / 168m from Exit 8 of Suwon City Hall Station / Mon–Fri 10:00–22:30, last order 22:00 / Sat–Sun 09:00–21:30, last order 21:00 / Closed during Chuseok holiday / Takeout, reservations, group seating available / Gender-separated restrooms / Baby chairs available / Parking: free dedicated lot in front of the building

Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, a soup spot near Suwon City Hall Station in Ingye-dong, is only 168m from Exit 8 — about a 3-minute walk, so it's super accessible!!!

Perfect for a hangover cure the day after a wild Friday or Saturday night out in Ingye-dong. And of course, it's also great for drinking in the evening.

Parking and the atmosphere inside
No need to worry about walking only — there's a dedicated parking lot right in front, plus underground parking, and it's all free.
The inside is really spacious and clean!!! The tables are spaced well apart so you don't have to eat all squeezed in.

Each table has its own partition, and there's plenty of seating for group reservations too!!! Baby chairs are available for families, so no worries there either~~

There's a dedicated restroom that's gender-separated!! And it's clean like a hotel bathroom, honestly!!!!

There are disposable aprons too, so grab one if you're prone to spills~ Under the table there's a drawer with disposable wet wipes, spoons and chopsticks, so hygiene-wise, no complaints~ There's also a self-serve corner if you run out of side dishes.
Apparently, if you order one soup per person, an extra bowl of rice is free!! Most places charge at least ₩1,000 for that, so this is generous, right?

What's on the menu
The menu has haejangguk (hangover soup), tripe soup, dombe pork, and seasoned tripe salad.

You can opt out of blood cubes if that's not your thing, and there's also a summer menu of hanchi mulhoe (cold squid raw fish soup)!!

There's also seasoned tripe salad, dombe pork, and hot pot on offer, great as drinking snacks!! I ordered two tripe soups and a small dombe pork. If there's a review event, definitely go for it — it's a no-brainer.
Side dishes are simple and clean: peppers, seokbakji (young radish kimchi), ssamjang (dipping sauce), and minced garlic.

Small dombe pork — tastes like bossam with a jokbal aroma
The small dombe pork came out first!! Salted shrimp, garlic, peppers, and lettuce for wrapping. You can tell just by looking that the meat is tender and well cooked, right?!!
The texture was so tender, and there wasn't a hint of gamey smell!! It tasted like bossam (boiled pork wraps) with a jokbal (braised pig's feet) aroma — maybe they boil it with the same ingredients used for jokbal!!
One bite and I was suddenly craving soju that wasn't even part of the plan haha.

Piling the dombe pork, garlic, peppers, and ssamjang onto lettuce felt like eating healthy too, ha.

The main event: tripe soup, best with minced garlic stirred in
Here's the main dish, tripe soup!! Rice comes on the side but there's still so much inside that the earthenware pot nearly overflows!!!

What's distinctive about Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk is that you mix in the minced garlic that comes as a side!!! It has a strangely addictive charm.

Loaded with blood cubes, plus bean sprouts, scallions, and more good-for-hangovers ingredients!! This must be why Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is the go-to soup restaurant near Suwon City Hall Station~

Anyone here who doesn't like blood cubes?!! I love them!! Dip them in the mustard sauce that comes alongside, and even people who normally can't eat it might not mind!

The tripe is also great dipped in the sauce~~ No gamey taste at all, and the texture is really nice.

Mixing in a hefty scoop of rice made it so satisfying it made me want a hangover drink of my own!!! I went on a Sunday for lunch and, sure enough, lots of people were nursing their hangovers haha.

Eating it with seokbakji makes it even more delicious~~~~~ Soup and seokbakji just go together, don't they?

Some of the peppers can be surprisingly spicy, so try a small bite first, ha.

What's the perfect ending to a soup meal? Coffee!! I went there to properly cure a hangover and ended up leaving with a fresh one from unplanned drinks — highly recommend Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, the soup restaurant in Ingye-dong near Suwon City Hall Station~
