Hekbap Kkachisan Branch is close to Kkachisan Station, so getting there isn't hard at all! We came by bus.
From solo seats to a baby chair, a clean interior

The inside of the place is neatly arranged! Solo-dining tables are set up mainly along the windows for customers eating alone, while 2-seat and 4-seat tables are also available in various configurations, so it's good whether you come alone, with friends, or with family.

This time I visited just with my husband, but there's a baby chair here, so it seemed like a great spot to bring kids too. There are also disposable aprons ready, so if you're wearing light-colored clothes, no need to worry.

Before picking a menu, I noticed a little book next to the table kiosk that caught my eye — it's fun to flip through when you want to check on your day or just something for fun! I happened to be feeling a bit down that day, and seeing a mood-lifting quote made me happy.

Hekbap seems to have launched a new menu series, since it was advertised on the kiosk — if you like spicy flavors, this might be worth trying. I'm a total spice wimp, so I went with the regular menu! My husband said he wanted something a bit spicier, so he ordered the spicy version.

Above the table ordering system there's a guide on how to enjoy the meal, wifi info, and even a review-receipt event, so joining in for a free drink sounds nice, right?

The difference between à la carte and set menus, and the full-spread setup
After some time passed from ordering, our food arrived. Most of it comes as a full spread! Since we were both hungry, we ordered the set menus, and unlike the basic à la carte dishes, the sets come with extra side dishes.

Soba set — topped with fried chicken
Since it was hot out, I went with the soba set! The set comes topped with fried chicken. Eating it with the cold soba broth and radish was so good! The seasoning wasn't bland either, which I liked.

Spicy ramen set — the side is pork cutlet
My husband ordered the spicy ramen, and the side turned out to be pork cutlet! It looked packed with heat, but he ate it saying it wasn't spicy at all, which was kind of annoying, honestly.

Extra curry rice
We thought what we ordered might not be enough, so we added a curry rice, and the portion looked bigger than expected, right?

₩30,000 for two, and why we'd come back again
Ordering all this came to about ₩30,000, so it wasn't just cheap but filling too — we ate really well! This time it was cool soba, but next time I want to try the ramen! Hekbap near Kkachisan Station is a place worth revisiting. If you're near Kkachisan Station looking for good-value food or a place good for eating alone, come to Hekbap Kkachisan Branch!
