Pocheon gnocchi lunch with kids: white ragu & shrimp pilaf at Eoneu
In short
Eoneu Dal is a pasta and gnocchi restaurant on Jeongmundong-gil in Pocheon, Gyeonggi. Two adults and a child ordered white ragu gnocchi, shrimp rosé pasta, and shrimp pilaf, and found the sauces rich and portions generous. With a baby chair and spice level adjustable per dish, it worked well as a family-friendly Pocheon lunch spot.

We went on a day trip to Pocheon with our kid and had lunch at Eoneu Dal. We visited as two adults and one child, and ordered white ragu gnocchi, shrimp rosé pasta, and shrimp pilaf. Every dish came in a generous portion, and overall the sauces were rich and deep in flavor, so we ate really well.
When you're going out with a kid, you naturally check whether there's a non-spicy option, a baby chair, and a comfortable atmosphere for eating — and all of that turned out fine here. Today I'll go over Eoneu Dal's location, parking, menu, the Table-ing waitlist, the gnocchi and pasta we tried firsthand, and how it was visiting with a kid.

That day our Pocheon itinerary went: Pof Insect Theme Park → lunch at Eoneu Dal → Art Garden 1999 → dinner. It was a good flow for a family outing — do one activity with the kid, have lunch, then move on to the afternoon plans, so it works well as a Pocheon family day-trip course.
Parking was available right in front of the restaurant, and there's additional parking space in the back too. Looking only at the front lot, it might seem tight if customers pile up, but since there's more space in back, it's worth checking both.

Atmosphere and the Table-ing waitlist
Inside, Eoneu Dal has a unique, long layout. Rather than feeling like one long stretch of tables packed together, glass block partitions naturally divide the space here and there. There were seats further in that were good for groups too. Even with a kid, the atmosphere wasn't too heavy, and it was comfortable to eat in.

You can check the waitlist through Table-ing. There are waiting chairs outside the entrance and space to wait inside too, so even if there's a line during meal times, there's somewhere to sit. We joined the Table-ing queue about 30–40 minutes before we arrived.

Eoneu Dal's menu and prices
We ordered white ragu gnocchi (₩20,000), shrimp rosé pasta (₩19,000), and shrimp pilaf (₩18,000).
Since you can mix and match pasta, gnocchi, risotto, and pilaf, it's easy to share as a family. And once the dishes actually arrived, each portion was quite generous. Rather than ordering a ton of dishes just because there are several people, I'd suggest ordering to match your headcount and adding more if you're still hungry.

White ragu gnocchi and shrimp rosé pasta
The dish I was most curious about was the white ragu gnocchi. There was plenty of sauce over the gnocchi, and the ground meat blended well with the various vegetables — so it wasn't just a strong cream flavor, but a deep, well-rounded richness overall. Of everything we ate that day, I liked this one the most for having a sauce that wasn't light but genuinely deep.

Since we were eating with our kid, we asked for anything spicy to be left out, and they brought cheongyang chili peppers (hot green chilis) on the side instead. We served the kid's portion first and mixed the peppers in for mom and dad — that was a fun little touch too.

We also ordered the shrimp rosé pasta. It's a different sauce from the white ragu, so it was nice to switch back and forth, and the rosé sauce coated both the shrimp and the noodles generously. Our kid doesn't eat rosé sauce well, so we had this one made spicier. It came loaded with plump shrimp and plenty of sauce, and we even dipped the pre-meal bread in it — it went together nicely.

Shrimp pilaf, and the seasonal blue crab risotto that caught our eye
We also needed something our kid could eat, so we ordered the shrimp pilaf. Having a rice dish alongside pasta and gnocchi made it easy to share around the table. When eating out with a kid, adding one pilaf alongside the noodle dishes worked better than just ordering multiple pasta dishes. We picked it as a safe option for our kid, and since it wasn't overly seasoned, the overall flavor was well balanced — both kid and parents really enjoyed it.

While looking at the menu, the seasonal blue crab risotto also caught my eye. Our kid loves blue crab, so I wanted to order it too, but I was told it's a bit spicy, so we skipped it this time since it wouldn't have worked for the kid. T_T But looking at the one served at the table next to us, it had big chunks of crab in it and looked really appetizing. We didn't get to try it this time, but if we come across it again as a seasonal menu, I'd like to order it as a dish just for the adults.
How was it going with a kid — baby chair and service
When you eat out with a kid, the baby chair and staff service matter just as much as the menu. Eoneu Dal had a baby chair, so it was easy to seat our kid, and the staff's service stood out too. It wasn't just taking our order politely — they checked in again to see if we needed anything and clearly tried to make the meal as comfortable as possible. Little touches like that mean a lot when you're eating out with a kid.

When choosing your kid's dish, it's also a good idea to ask ahead whether a menu item is spicy or strongly flavored. We heard the blue crab risotto was a bit spicy, so we left it off the kid's menu.
Overall verdict
Eoneu Dal in Pocheon isn't just a nice-looking restaurant — the food itself was genuinely good. In particular,
- The portions were generous,
- The sauces were rich and deep,
- There was a good range of pasta, gnocchi, and pilaf options,
- There was a baby chair,
- And the staff's thoughtful service was great.
The interior is also long with glass block partitions dividing the space, so it didn't feel too cramped or packed together. And if you're worried about waiting, it's good to know you can check the wait status via Table-ing.
We had the white ragu gnocchi, shrimp rosé pasta, and shrimp pilaf, and overall it was a delicious meal — next time I'd like to try the seasonal blue crab risotto we missed this time. If you're traveling in Pocheon with a kid and craving pasta or gnocchi instead of Korean food, and looking for a Pocheon pasta restaurant with a baby chair and kid-friendly dishes, Eoneu Dal is worth checking out. :)
