Unlimited cocktails at B LAB, a Gangnam Station bar in Seoul
In short
B LAB is an unlimited cocktail and highball bar on the second floor of a building about a 4-minute walk from Exit 11 of Gangnam Station in Seoul. From a window sofa seat at B LAB, I picked a Cosmopolitan, a Godfather and a layered hwaju (rainbow shot cocktail), then finished with Saero soju, with popcorn served as the basic snack. B LAB is less a quiet classic bar than a casual second-round spot, complete with wigs, a lie detector and a crocodile-teeth game.

These days, after work, there are nights when I'd rather sip slowly somewhere with a nice vibe than sit in a loud, crowded bar. I had an evening plan near Gangnam Station this time, and while looking for a spot, I ended up at B LAB, a Gangnam Station cocktail bar where you can enjoy all kinds of cocktails without worrying about the bill.
Where is B LAB? A 4-minute walk from Gangnam Station Exit 11, plus parking
B LAB's Gangnam main branch is about a 4-minute walk from Exit 11 of Gangnam Station. Come out of Exit 11, go straight, and turn into the alley to the right of the City Building — it's on the 2nd floor of a building near the alley intersection, so it was easier to find than I expected.
It's not far off the main Gangnam Station street, so it's a good meeting spot, and also convenient to swing by for a casual cocktail as a second stop after dinner. That said, there's no dedicated parking lot for the store, so if you're driving, you'll need to use a nearby paid or public parking lot. Since it's a place for drinking and it's so close to Gangnam Station anyway, I'd personally recommend taking public transit!

Coming in from the alley near Gangnam Station, the B LAB sign is easy to spot. There's a big vertical sign on the outside of the building reading "Unlimited cocktails, highballs," so it catches your eye even from a distance. B LAB is on the 2nd floor, so once you see the sign, just head up the stairs.
Heading up toward the entrance, there's a white-toned wall with the B LAB logo, photos from TV appearances, and various liquor bottles on display. Even before going in, I already got a sense of that old-school Gangnam Station cocktail bar vibe.

Inside B LAB: seating and atmosphere
Inside B LAB, the lighting is kept low overall with pink and purple tones, which definitely gives it that cocktail bar feel. That said, it's not too dark or heavy — more of a casual atmosphere that's easy to have a drink in!
The seating was also more spacious than I expected. There's a range of options from tables that fit larger groups to sofa seats by the window, so it seemed like a good spot for both dates and hangouts with friends. We settled into the window sofa seats, which were comfortable for chatting. Even though it's a Gangnam Station cocktail bar right in the middle of the neighborhood, the seats weren't cramped, so it was easy to enjoy the cocktails slowly.

How does B LAB's unlimited cocktail deal work?
B LAB's signature menu is, of course, the unlimited cocktails. Rather than ordering one drink at a time like at a typical cocktail bar, the biggest feature is that you can pick from a wide variety of cocktails and drink your way through them. With so many options on the menu, it was fun to try both the cocktails I usually order and ones I'd always been curious about.
Besides cocktails, there's also a range of other drinks like highballs, whiskey, and tequila, so whether you like something sweet and light or something with more of a kick, there's something to suit your taste.
That day I picked the Godfather and the Cosmopolitan. The Godfather is a classic cocktail combining whiskey and amaretto, so it has the heaviness of whiskey along with the sweet flavor of amaretto.

Wigs, a lie detector and a crocodile game at B LAB
B LAB isn't just a place to drink cocktails — there were quite a few small things to play around with in between drinks. Near the entrance, there were colorful wigs and props, and at the tables, there was even a nostalgic lie detector and a crocodile teeth-pressing game, haha.
These are perfect for messing around with once in a while while chatting over drinks! Especially if you come with a group, they seem great for playing little bets. Thanks to these fun little extras, it felt a lot more casual and lighthearted than a Gangnam Station cocktail bar where you just sit and drink.

The basic snack at B LAB: popcorn 🍿
At B LAB, popcorn comes out as the basic snack once you sit down. They bring it out warm right in the bag and spread it across the table, and the portion was more generous than I expected. It might seem like a minor thing, but as you snack on it bit by bit while drinking cocktails, you find yourself reaching for it again and again.
Salty, light snacks like popcorn go especially well as something to nibble on between cocktails without feeling heavy. We kept picking at it while drinking the Godfather and the Cosmopolitan, and it disappeared pretty quickly. Having a big spread of popcorn out before we really started drinking made it feel a bit like being at the movies, and it was a nice way to ease into casual conversation.

How was the Cosmopolitan at B LAB?
The first cocktail I chose at B LAB was the Cosmopolitan. As in the photo, it has a reddish tint, so it looks pretty even before you take a sip. It came with plenty of ice, making it refreshing to drink.
A Cosmopolitan is generally a vodka-based cocktail with cranberry and citrus flavors. It's sweet and tangy, but you can still feel the alcohol from the vodka at the end, so it's not just a purely sweet drink. It's a solid pick for people like me who enjoy refreshing, sweet cocktails but find overly light ones a bit unsatisfying.
The pretty color also made it a nice, easy first drink to start with at a nice-vibe Gangnam Station cocktail bar. 🍸

🍸 Cheers: starting the night with a Godfather
As soon as the cocktails arrived, we toasted right away, haha. My Cosmopolitan had a refreshing, sweet taste that made for an easy first drink, and it was also fun to trade sips with the cocktail my friend ordered.
With the basic popcorn spread out in the middle and cocktails in hand, it really felt like a proper second-round hangout in Gangnam Station. Since there are so many different cocktails, picking different ones and toasting to compare a sip of each is another way to enjoy B LAB! The casual atmosphere also made it easy to relax and drink comfortably with friends.
🌈 Hwaju, the layered rainbow shot cocktail
Next up was the hwaju, which grabs your attention purely by looks. As soon as I got the glass, I couldn't help but start taking photos because of the colorful layers. Blue, yellow, red — all divided into layers — it was pretty just to look at.
For a cocktail like this, you have to snap a photo before the colors mix together, haha. With such a wide variety of cocktails to choose from, B LAB is definitely a Gangnam Station cocktail bar where it's fun to pick a different style each time.

🍶 Finishing with Saero soju
After trying various cocktails, we ended up finishing with soju, of course, haha. After drinking sweet, refreshing cocktails one after another, I started craving something clean, so we ordered an extra bottle of Saero.
Pouring it into a glass with a cute face printed on it somehow made it go down even more smoothly! We finished off the last bit of leftover popcorn alongside it and enjoyed our final drink of the night. What I liked about this Gangnam Station cocktail bar is that from Cosmopolitan to hwaju to soju at the end, everyone in the group could pick whatever they liked, even with different tastes.
Is B LAB worth it? Final verdict and who it suits
✔️ Taste — With such a wide variety of cocktails, it was fun picking and choosing different drinks. There's a decent range of options, from sweet-and-tangy cocktails like the Cosmopolitan to visually fun ones like the hwaju.
✔️ Price — This felt like a setup with more value for people who want to try lots of different drinks rather than just one or two glasses. There's real fun in finding cocktails that match your taste as you go.
✔️ Atmosphere — A casual vibe with pink and purple lighting mixed together. With little activities like wigs, the lie detector, and the crocodile game, it felt less like a quiet bar and more like a spot to hang out and drink comfortably with friends.
✔️ Service — The atmosphere was relaxed and easy to enjoy drinks in, and popcorn came included as the basic snack.
✔️ Would I return — If I ever need a place near Gangnam Station where a group can casually enjoy a variety of cocktails, this place will probably come to mind.
✔️ Recommended for — People who want a lively night out trying different cocktails with friends rather than the quiet, calm mood of a classic cocktail bar, and anyone looking for a casual second-round spot near Gangnam Station.
