Bangi-dong bar in Seoul with a baseball screen: Wareureu Mansion

In short

Wareureu Mansion Bangi Branch is a retro-style Korean bar in the Bangi food alley in Songpa, Seoul, an 8-minute walk from Jamsil Station Exit 10. On a weekday after-work second round, the writer ordered sundubu (soft tofu stew), gimpitang (kimchi and pork belly stew with ramyeon noodles) and toast with egg and sugar, and the best seats were the ones facing the big screen showing Jamsil baseball games. With backrest seating, a sofa corner inside and draft beer for 100 won before 7pm, Wareureu Mansion Bangi Branch is an easy pick for small gatherings or a group second round.

Why this Bangi-dong Korean bar works for a weekday second round

After drinks with good people on a weekday, we were wondering where to go for round two, and decided to check out the newly opened Korean bar-restaurant Wareureu Mansion Bangi Branch~~~

Second-floor entrance of Wareureu Mansion Bangi Branch

The place is full-on retro vibes, and it's apparently a Korean bar-restaurant where you can also get a proper meal!! Supposedly the snack menu is super varied~~ haha. A great-value spot for round two in Jamsil haha.

What are the baseball screen and the seats like?

Once inside Wareureu Mansion Bangi Branch, the space turned out to be really spacious, and the screen was huge too, so I'd recommend it as a baseball bar, a Bangi-dong baseball bar even!! hahaha Great for eating while watching sports!! Just FYI, they apparently only show Jamsil games... haha

Table seating with a view of the screen
Seating area with backrest chairs

I personally like seats with a backrest, and here everything has a backrest, plus there's a cozy sofa spot in the back too, so the seating was really great haha.

Kiosk ordering and 100-won draft beer before 7pm

You order the menu at Wareureu Mansion Bangi Branch via kiosk~~ hahaha. The vibe is totally retro but the service is giving full MZ-generation energy hahaha.

The menu descriptions are super detailed!! And ₩100 beer before 7pm!! Is that even real~~ hahaha. They genuinely have every trending menu item, so if you want to try whatever's popular right now, you can find it all here haha. Raw shrimp, mixed gabri boiled pork platter, yukhoe wraps with beef tenderloin, and more... hahaha.

What we ordered: sundubu, gimpitang and toast with egg and sugar

Macaroni served as a complimentary side dish
