Haeundae restaurant for kids’ pizza and pasta: Bueokgan

In short

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is a European restaurant in Haeundae, Busan, serving pizza and pasta. We shared the 51,000 won Couple Dish Set with two children and appreciated the basement parking, roomy seating, and kids’ tableware. Verdict: a comfortable choice for a Haeundae family meal.

While looking for somewhere to have dinner with the kids in Haeundae, I visited Bueokgan Haeundae Branch (부엌간 해운대점) because the atmosphere looked lovely and the menu seemed varied 🤍

My kids love pizza and pasta so much, so this time we headed out properly for pasta at a Haeundae restaurant haha.

When I eat out with the kids, the food matters, of course, but I also pay close attention to things like whether there is parking and whether the restaurant is too cramped. Bueokgan was a place I liked on those points too.

Parking and getting around with kids

The building has basement parking, which was convenient

We drove there, and there was a basement parking lot on B1 of the building.

After parking, we could simply take the elevator, so getting around with the kids was easy too. The floor guide said B1 was the parking lot; the first floor had Café de Bueok and Bueokgan Chinese; and the second floor was Bueokgan European Restaurant. Just press 2 in the elevator and the Bueokgan entrance is right there, so it was easy to find.

Second-floor Bueokgan entrance and exterior

The exterior had a slightly classic feel, and it looked especially atmospheric with the lights on in the evening ✨

The atmosphere inside and spacious seating

🤍 The atmosphere is so pretty as soon as you walk in, isn’t it?

Once inside, the space was much larger than I had expected.

Interior with wood tones and sofa seating

Each area had a slightly different mood: one had cream and wood tones with mustard-colored seats, while another had green sofas. The lighting was soft and the tables were not squeezed together, so photos came out nicely too, and I thought it would be a good date spot as well. There were window-side tables and seats suitable for groups, so it also looked nice for family meals or get-togethers.

Personally, I prefer a relaxed restaurant like this over somewhere that is overly noisy these days :)

A family meal with kids’ tableware ready

👶 Why it was comfortable even with children

We went with the kids, and I also liked that they provided separate kids’ tableware.

Pink kids’ tableware set

They set out pink trays and cups, along with child-sized forks and spoons, so I could serve the kids right away without having to portion food out from the adults’ plates. Those of you who eat out with kids a lot will know—little details like this are surprisingly convenient haha.

Table tablet ordering screen

You order on the tablet at the table, so we could take our time choosing while looking at the menu photos. We ordered the Bueokgan Couple Dish Set for ₩51,000 >.< Our set included pizza, pasta, salad, a side dish, and drinks, so it was perfect for sharing among several people.

Sharing the Couple Dish Set

Sweet potato fries we kept reaching for from the start

First up were the sweet potato fries! They arrived nicely golden, and once I picked one up and dipped it in ketchup, I kept reaching for them even before the main dishes arrived lol.

They were easy for the kids to eat too, so the plate started disappearing as soon as it hit the table.

Drinks ordered with the set

We ordered drinks too, and their refreshing feel went well with the food. Their colors were pretty in photos as well :)

The napa cabbage Caesar salad was exactly my thing

Then there was the napa cabbage Caesar salad, which had such a distinctive look! It came with a rich sauce and toppings, and it worked well eaten between the heavier pizza and pasta. I like having a dish like this because it keeps the meal from becoming too repetitive until the end.

The kids’ favorite was, of course, the pepperoni pizza

As soon as the pizza appeared, the kids’ eyes completely changed lol.

Pizza generously topped with pepperoni

It was generously topped with pepperoni, and the dough was baked golden right to the edges. And as you can see in the photo, the cheese really streeeeetched— 😆

Pepperoni pizza with stretchy cheese

My oldest picked up a slice, and the cheese kept stretching, so they got excited and kept trying to stretch it farther lol. Then, eventually, a proper big bite! As a mom, seeing the kids eat well is the most satisfying thing.

For families with kids who usually love pizza, this was a good menu item to visit and share together.

The cream pasta I had been looking forward to

Cream pasta with bacon and mushrooms

And then, the pasta I was most excited for this time! It had bacon and mushrooms in cream sauce, with a soft topping in the center, and the look alone was completely my style.

When I lifted the noodles, the sauce clung thickly to them—exactly the kind of pasta cream-pasta lovers would enjoy!

The creamy sauce was nutty and smooth, and having bacon and mushrooms in it meant every bite had a nice bit of texture from the ingredients. If you are looking for pasta at a Haeundae restaurant and like creamy dishes, this is a menu item worth noticing.

Cream pasta served on a child’s tray

When I served some onto my younger child’s tray, they twirled up the pasta with their fork and ate it so well lol. I tried to take a photo, and they held the pasta high in the air with the happiest expression 🤣 The kids ate both pizza and pasta well, so choosing the menu for our family meal was a success.

Even a generous pastry-topped soup dish

A dish covered in pastry came out in the middle too, and its top was baked golden. Once all the food was on the table, it really looked abundant.

With pizza, pasta, salad, and fries, there was such a variety that it was more fun to share different things than to keep eating only one dish. Especially if several people visit, it seems like a nice set where everyone can choose a favorite and share together.

A satisfying family meal in Haeundae

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch made a good first impression because the restaurant was pretty, and having a parking lot was convenient too. Above all, it had pizza and pasta that the kids liked, so it felt easy to visit for a family meal.

With separate kids’ tableware ready, we were able to eat comfortably even with two children :) Bueokgan seemed like a solid choice for everyone from couples looking for an atmospheric date spot to families looking for pizza and pasta with their kids!
