I've been watching what I eat lately, so I pay attention to menus even when eating out. Just having a salad after work felt a little sad, and I wanted a filling meal, so I went to Hola Poke near Seolleung Station!

Hola Poke near Seolleung Station: location and seating
Hola Poke is in an alley close to Seolleung Station, and the shop is on the second floor of the building!

The interior was clean overall, and there were more seats than I expected!

There are dedicated counter seats that are great for sitting alone, plus plenty of outlets, so it was perfect for a solo meal while charging my phone, haha. There were also lots of tables for groups. Seolleung has so many office workers, so I can see this being popular for everything from solo meals to lunch.

You order at the kiosk, and there is also a self-service bar on one side where you can pick up anything you need!

Checking base and sauce calories

Hola Poke lists not only the calories for each menu item but also all the carbs, protein, and fat!

Even for the same poke bowl, the calories varied quite a bit depending on the base and sauce. A salad-only base is 40 kcal, half salad and half oat brown rice is 120 kcal, and oat brown rice only is 200 kcal! You can also adjust the salad-to-rice ratio, so you can choose exactly what you want, whether you feel like something light or something more substantial.

The sauces had their calories listed separately too. Yuzu soy sauce was 7 kcal, the sriracha mayo I chose was 50 kcal, and wasabi mayo was 103 kcal, which was a bigger difference than I expected. If you're carefully tracking calories while dieting, it would be good to check not just the poke bowl but the base and sauce too!
I chose half salad and half oat brown rice, then added steak to the Raw Salmon Poke, haha. For the sauce, I chose sriracha mayo, the recommended pairing for the Raw Salmon Poke!
A filling bowl of raw salmon poke with steak

With raw salmon and added flat iron steak, the main toppings were generous, and there were lots of standard toppings too, including chickpeas and lentils, so the bowl felt completely full, haha. I had skipped lunch and was having this poke for dinner, so I wondered if I'd get hungry again quickly, but it was honestly much more filling than I expected!

I especially loved how large and thick the salmon pieces were! I was worried the flat iron steak might be chewy, but it wasn't tough at all—it was tender and so delicious, haha. On days when a salad alone feels a little lacking but you still want to stick to your diet, adding a main topping like this seems like a good idea!
Eating only chicken breast or salad every time you diet gets tiring, but at Hola Poke you can adjust everything from the base to the main toppings, so it was easy to tailor a meal to my diet! The seating is also well set up for eating alone, so if you're looking for an office-worker lunch or a solo dinner after work in Seolleung, definitely stop by for a tasty, satisfying poke bowl, haha.
