The moment we arrived near the restaurant, its neat, grand exterior totally caught my eye! 🏢✨ It already gave off such an upscale vibe that I thought, “Ah, we found a proper Korean BBQ place today!” It is already a much-talked-about restaurant in Sinwolsong, and it is so well maintained and easy to spot from afar that finding it was a breeze.

A spacious interior and a huge kids’ playroom

Once we stepped inside… wow, the atmosphere was seriously amazing! 💖 The warm yet upscale interior put me in a good mood right away 🌿✨ The tables were generously spaced and the room felt comfortable—just right for a relaxed meal! There were so many families dining here too, and I immediately understood why! 👨👩👧👦💕 There is a fully equipped, huge playroom! 🧸

🎈 The children can play their hearts out while the parents comfortably grill and eat meat, so I thought there could hardly be a better place for a family meal 💯👏 The owner and staff were so sweet and kind too—it was touching from the moment they welcomed us 😇🌸

Pre-grilled pork galbi and doenjang-jjigae

Finally, meat time at last~! 🥩🎉 We ordered their most popular dish, real pork galbi (marinated pork ribs)! At Baeksanu Sutbul Wolsong Main Branch (백산우숯불 월성본점), you can choose whether to have your meat pre-grilled when ordering, and of course we chose pre-grilling ⚡🔥 It arrived partially grilled with a lovely charcoal aroma soaked right in, and it was so much easier to finish cooking too! ⏱️👍 The charcoal was set on the table and the pre-grilled pork galbi went straight onto the grill… wow, even the smell was insane 🤤💥

The second I took a bite, I could not help but gasp! The meat was almost free of fat, wonderfully light yet moist, and so moreish without feeling greasy! 🥩✨ The marinade was not overly sweet and had soaked right into the meat, so every chew burst with juices 🍯😋 And there is one essential course you absolutely cannot skip after eating meat! We ordered doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew) too 🍲

It arrived bubbling away in a ttukbaegi (earthenware pot), and the deep, savory aroma of homemade doenjang tickled my nose! It was packed with tofu and vegetables, and the broth was wonderfully spicy and refreshing. It cut right through any richness after the meat, and I polished off a whole bowl of rice 🍚👍 Pork galbi and doenjang-jjigae are truly a match made in heaven…💖
