I was out in Bukchon today and finally made it to a pizza place in Anguk that I'd wanted to try for ages — the vibe and the food were so satisfying that I had to come write about it.

I went on a weekday just before 6pm, so luckily there was no wait — but this pizza spot is so popular that during peak hours I'd recommend registering ahead on CatchTable.

Low Five is a casual restaurant with a wood interior that felt really warm and cozy.
Inside there's a range of tables from 2-tops to 4-tops to group seating, so it seemed perfect for couples on a date, friends, or a group gathering.
The tables were spaced well apart for a comfortable meal, and not long after we sat down the whole place filled up — clearly a real neighborhood favorite.
In the middle of the restaurant there's a self-serve station with various sauces, tissues, water, and cutlery you can grab whenever you need.

True to its reputation as an Anguk pizza spot, it sells a range of pizzas, from corn pizza to the signature Tex-Mex taco pizza, and you can order a half-and-half to try both at once. Beyond pizza there's also a good range of pastas — I really wanted to try the signature classic lasagna, but by the time I got there it was already sold out, likely due to a limited quantity.
Besides the mains, there's also a good lineup of beer, drinks, and wine worth ordering alongside your food.

Since we came straight from work, we ordered a cold beer and an ade to shake off the day's tiredness, and both came out fast. The beer was ice cold and washed all the fatigue away, and the grapefruit ade was refreshing with a tangy fizz that felt like a total reset, haha.
How is the Alfredo cream pasta at Low Five Anguk?
The Alfredo cream pasta, topped with a big chunk of grilled bacon on a spicy cream base, already looked perfect just from the visuals!
It came out freshly made, steaming like crazy, and the smell was even crazier than the steam. Mix it up well!!
I tasted it and — wait, what?! I thought this place was supposed to be a pizza spot, so why is the cream pasta this good?! The second it hit my mouth, this rich, smooth cream flavor lingered — thick and deeply savory, seriously amazing, T_T!!
Especially the pairing of the salty, thick bacon with the cream sauce — that combo is a total match made in heaven.

Next the pizza we ordered arrived, and — wow, that thickness. The portion alone already won me over.

They served the taco pizza with a lemon on the side so you could squeeze it on top.
I tried the taco pizza first — my expectations were already sky-high after the pasta, so I wondered if it could keep up.
This place is definitely the real deal for Anguk pizza, T_T! The Tex-Mex taco pizza has a spicy chipotle base topped with grilled shrimp, hot chicken, bacon salsa, and cilantro — and surprisingly, it's the kind of flavor that just about everyone likes, a real crowd-pleaser for Korean palates.
With a slightly spicy-sweet sauce, savory cheese, and big plump shrimp, it was delicious in both texture and flavor.
The corn pizza has a white truffle base with bacon, chili shrimp, butter seasoning, and grilled corn on top. The corn is lightly charred to bring out maximum sweetness, so the first bite hits with that popping sweet corn texture, savory cheese, and the base sauce tying it all together perfectly. I really enjoyed both the pizza and the pasta — if you're looking for a good pizza spot in Anguk, look no further than Low Five Anguk.
