They also have freshwater eel spicy stew alongside the freshwater eel, so I'll have to try the spicy stew next time haha. We picked the salt-grilled freshwater eel set! haha

Since they come 70% pre-grilled, they lay one side down first, flip after 3 minutes, and after another 3 minutes it's ready to eat deliciously! haha Even a handy tip on how to eat it well!!!!

The salt-grilled eel came out beautifully golden brown ㅠㅠ Looking at this again makes me want to eat it all over again... drooling. Can you see how plump it is!?!?

It's delicious even just dipped in the basic sauce, but eaten together with the tasty sides, it's paradise! Personally, the pickled perilla leaves were the kick of the day lol. But don't worry, everything was a winner ㅠ

The complimentary doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) that comes with the meal at 99Jangeo88 Suwon Homaesil Branch! I was debating whether to order doenjang jjigae separately, but it came free — jackpot!!!! haha lol

The generous doenjang jjigae at 99Jangeo88 Suwon Homaesil Branch had big chunks of tofu, onion, and zucchini, so we ended up ordering rice too lol. But honestly, the broth alone was delicious... so rich...

Turmeric rice with eel piled on top — isn't this basically the ultimate energy-boosting meal!?!? My boyfriend and I even went all out with wraps ~~~~
