I was looking for a good lash lift place near Seolleung Station and ended up getting the signature On The Ddolmang Perm at On The Boutique. I was treated by Director Rahee. I already like lash lifts because they make mornings easier, and this time I went with the On The Ddolmang Perm!

On The Boutique was quiet and clean. It's divided into private rooms, so I didn't have to worry about other customers while getting the treatment. The bed was warmed up nicely and the tools were well organized.

Certificates were hung on the wall, and besides lash lifts, they also do sugaring wax. There are two directors, so booking tends to be relatively easy, and you switch into slippers when you walk in.

Consultation: a curl shaped to your eyes, not lifted straight up

The inside of the shop was this clean, and what I liked most at On The Boutique was the consultation. She looked at my eye shape and lash condition and explained how different approaches would look. Then she asked what mood I wanted first.

When I said I preferred something natural over an overly lifted look, she suggested a curl direction that suited my face, so I could trust her without any worry. It was impressive that she adjusted on the spot based on my eye condition! It felt like she found what suited my eyes first rather than insisting on a heavily lifted curl. She was upbeat and explained things comfortably, so I stayed relaxed the whole time.

This is how it looked before the treatment. It had been about two months since my last lash lift, and probably because I skipped lash serum and rubbed my eyes, it had fallen out really messily. At first I wondered if it could even be fixed.

The treatment went smoothly. She kept checking in to see if anything felt uncomfortable, and she was so careful during the setting process that there was no time to feel tense. It didn't take as long as I expected — I basically just lay back and relaxed until it was done. Unlike other places, I didn't feel any stinging or eye irritation while my eyes were closed.

Once it was done, my eyes looked more defined but not overdone, which I was really happy about! I could tell she genuinely aimed for a natural, flattering style. Even with my eyes closed, the curl sat neatly, and from the side the line looked so pretty that I kept checking the mirror. My eyes look defined even without mascara, so my makeup time got shorter — I'm so satisfied. Doesn't it look natural?

Aftercare: water, rubbing and oil cleansers

At On The Boutique, I was told to keep water off my lashes for about 4 hours after the treatment. I was careful even when washing my face that day.
