Orbit Beauty is an eyebrow and eyelash salon in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, between Yangpyeong Station and Yeongdeungpogu-cheong Station. I got my eyebrows done here yesterday, September 16th, as birthday self-care haha

Isn't it kind of annoying having to fix and draw your eyebrows every time? 😂 I especially have naturally short eyebrows, so every time I did my makeup I'd draw the tail out longer.

Actually, after booking, I had to change my schedule once because of personal reasons. 🥲 I felt a bit sorry about it and reached out carefully, but they checked available times again and gave me kind guidance, so I already had a good feeling before even visiting.

It's more of an organized, clean vibe than a flashy one. Since this kind of treatment happens so close to your face, I pay a lot of attention to cleanliness, and overall it felt well maintained and tidy, which I liked.

How long the eyebrow tattoo took: 1 hour 10 minutes at Orbit Beauty

When I visited, the whole thing took about 1 hour 10 minutes overall. At first they applied numbing cream and I waited about 10–15 minutes.

Next came what I personally felt was the most important part: shaping the eyebrow design. They spent about 20 minutes on this quite meticulously. The actual procedure went much faster than I expected, taking about 30 minutes.

My biggest concern from the start was that my eyebrows are naturally short, so I always had to draw the tail longer. So I first told them which parts felt awkward in my usual makeup and what style I wanted.

Instead of just going straight into a preset design after hearing this, they very carefully matched the angle and length.

Draw a line, check in the mirror, adjust a little, check again. They repeated this process over and over. Even the parts that looked a bit ambiguous to me got refined and shown to me again right away.

So by the time we got to the actual procedure, the design was so well settled that I thought, 'Ah, this is perfect as is.' My satisfaction shot up during this process. 🤎

Does an eyebrow tattoo hurt? About 30 minutes, almost no pain

Once the design was finalized and the procedure started, time passed much faster than I expected.

And while it probably varies by person, I barely felt any pain at all. It wasn't a stinging feeling, more like a light scratching sensation. So it was much more comfortable than I had nervously expected.

Only a slight burning feeling at the very end

Toward the very end there was a bit of a burning feeling, but since they had told me beforehand that it might feel hot, I wasn't caught off guard.

And instead of wrapping up right when it was done, they showed me the mirror again and asked if there were any parts I wanted filled in more or fixed.

I loved the first result so much that I finished right there. 😂

After: the natural tail length I wanted on short eyebrows

The part I cared about most was, of course, the tail of the eyebrow. Before, I kept extending the length with makeup because of my short eyebrows, but now that part connects naturally and the whole brow line looks much more polished. AFTER!

I especially loved that the tail no longer looked abruptly cut off like when I drew it myself, and the overall angle and length connected naturally. I'm already satisfied since it'll save me time each morning matching the tail length. 😂
